"Ok, I died and turns out there's internet in hell," said a soul, staring at the strange screen that appeared before them.
[WHICH WORLD DO YOU WANT TO GO TO?]
Countless options appeared, but one caught my attention:
{Wizards of Waverly Place x The Suite Life on Deck x Jessie x Mighty Med x Lab Rats x Bunk'd x Thundermans x Henry Danger x The Haunted Hathaways x My Babysitter's a Vampire x Wednesday}
These were all shows I had watched in my childhood, so I had already made up my mind and clicked.
{
Abilities to choose:
- Regeneration
- Draconic Aura
- Spells from the world of Harry Potter
}
Regeneration wouldn't be of much use, as injuries were rare in these shows. Not knowing what Draconic Aura was, I clicked on the third option, and everything went white.
Scene change:
I opened my eyes and found myself lying in bed. "Let's see whose body I reincarnated into," I said, looking into the mirror in my room. It was that of a 13-14-year-old boy with blond hair...
"I'm Max," I said to the mirror, then surveyed the room. I hadn't noticed before, but it was incredibly dirty. While cleanliness wasn't a priority in my previous life, this was beyond messy. I decided to find my wand and clean up. I grabbed my wand and attempted a "Scourgify" spell, which started sucking up all the dirt in my room. One reason I chose Harry Potter spells was to avoid needing to rhyme like other wizards in this world.
Max left his room and met Justin. "Hey Max, what's up? It's 4 AM, and Dad won't be teaching us today," Justin said, looking at Max.
"Yeah, I wanted to get up early to practice my discipline," Max said, then hurried down the stairs.
"I he taller, or is it magic? Nah, must be adolescence," Justin muttered to himself.
Yes, I had grown in the room using transfiguration.
I went downstairs and found my new mom cooking breakfast.
"Good morning, Mom. What are you making?" I asked, eyeing the food.
"Cooking some tacos from a recipe Uncle Ernesto gave me," she said, adding meat to a freshly made tortilla.
"Tastes good," I said, chewing on the taco.
"How many times have I told you not to chew with your mouth open?" she scolded, looking at me reproachfully.
"Sorry, Mom. I've noticed you're undervalued in this house. Dad always cooks for the station, and I realized maybe he underestimates you, and no one takes the time to thank you," I said, trying to salvage my image.
"Aww, come here, my boy," she said in Spanish, hugging me.
"I forgot to tell you, I'll be teaching magic class today, so wait for me downstairs," my mom said.
This could benefit me to get used to the magical environment.
I went down and headed to the lair, sitting and waiting for everyone to arrive.
The magic class proceeded normally until my mom lectured us on wizard robes. Alex tricked her into wearing the sleep hat, then Justin explained the effects of pants that make you smarter, but Alex put the sleep hat on Justin.
When I arrived at school, I saw Zeek drinking from a water fountain with everyone lining up behind him. That's when I realized it was Season 2 of the series, but it was 2012; in the original series, it was supposed to be 2008 or 2009, considering that reality was altered for so many series in one universe.
I heard Harper talking to Alex about the Tri-Wizard Cup competition. I already knew how this would end with Alex using the wise pants for the debate.
I saw a girl alone at her locker who looked a lot like actress Jenna Ortega, none other than Wednesday Addams. I approached her and said, "This feels like a scene from Edgar Allan Poe, don't you think?"
She looked at me and said, "If this were a Poe scene, you'd already be dead."
"If it's a Poe scene, I suppose the interesting part is coming next," I said.
"I love a good tragic ending," she replied indifferently.
"How about swapping an hour of math for a walk in the cemetery? I promise it'll be educational," I said.
"My mother won't like that... Perfect," Wednesday said, her cold gaze remaining, but a slight smile appeared on her face.
"They say the museum has a collection of cursed objects. Want to go check it out?" I asked, and we left school. Triveca High School has a schedule from 8 am to 11 pm in school and from 3-5 pm.
"So, what do you do for fun?" I asked to break the ice.
"My hobbies include reading about others' tragedies, observing the inevitable, and perfecting my spider collection," she replied.
"Spiders are fascinating. Do you collect them for inspiration or something more macabre?" I asked.
"They're simply practical. Did you know spiders can be more efficient than any other tool?" she said as if discussing something mundane.
"Because spiders have no need to explain their existence. They just are," Wednesday said.
And so we spent the whole afternoon talking, though she gave short answers. Surprisingly, we kept talking until I realized time had flown by, so we went to our respective homes.
I entered the station, and the first thing I saw was my mother crossing her arms and saying, "Max, where have you been?"
"I had to take care of some things," I calmly replied.
Then Alex and Harper entered.
"Mom, what happened? Sorry if they told you how I traumatized a student," Alex said, looking at her mother, who was very angry for some reason.
"Your brother missed class, so you can act normal," she said, not taking her eyes off Max.
"Now because of you, we don't have someone for the decathlon. Alex, you have to substitute," Harper said, looking at Alex.
Teresa (my mother) had an idea and said, "Max can."
"Why me? Besides, who goes to school on a Saturday?" I asked, looking at them.
"You because you need a punishment," she said indifferently and left.
"Well... what are the study topics?" I asked, looking at them.
"Take these notes; they have all the notes," Harper said, accepting Max on their team.
Zeek and Justin arrived.
"It seems like someone was disqualified from the academic decathlon," Justin said.
"Well, for your information, we have a new member, Max," Harper said.
Justin started laughing. "You guys already doubled the number of disqualified," Justin said and then high-fived Zeek.
"Justin, no one understands your bad jokes," Alex said.
"Please, you have Max on your team, who knows the difficult knowledge like this, Max, if you want, I have 1500 cards with questions and answers that can touch in the decathlon, although I'm still going to win," Justin said, then left to find them.
Scene change
I don't plan to read anything I'll use occlumency. Visualize an empty space with several bright points, absorbing all those bright points and creating a computer out of nowhere and put everything absorbed there, make this site a room made such that none can cross or look and if someone dares to alter will suffer attacks in retaliation, I said and visualize Ultron of Avengers was of ultron to protect my mind. With that, I already knew all the information that touched for the decathlon of tomorrow, messaged to Wednesday that he was going to participate in the decathlon:
[I'm going to the academic decathlon tomorrow. If you want, you can come and see me. It could be... interesting.]
I stared at the message for a second, wondering if I would send it or not. Finally, I pressed "Send" and left the phone on the bed.
A few seconds later, my phone vibrated with a response from Wednesday:
[Yes.]
I smiled to myself, imagining how Wednesday would look among the crowd, watching coldly as the team tried to win.
This was getting more interesting.
The next day:
We were at the decathlon, and only 2 people came to see us, then Dean and his group of friends arrived, although Dean saw that Alex was not going to participate he was disappointed a bit but surprisingly he stayed, then Wenesday arrived.
I won all the questions, and unlike the original chapter, I did leave some questions for Harper to participate in those that she known everything ended well when the decathlon was over, Wednesday told me: "My parents want to meet you"
