Arrival of Guests

[The kingdom earned its name due to the rich abundance of thunder-element resources in its territory, particularly the Stormwood Forest and Thunderpeak Mountains, both rich with naturally forming Thunder Crystals and Lightning Herbs.]

Orion raised an eyebrow in interest, further solidifying his understanding of his new home.

After several hours of intense reading, Orion leaned back, stretching his arms comfortably, and exhaled deeply.

"Haa… That was a lot to take in, but it's good. I now know a lot more about this world. Unlocking mana channels and forming meridians is the priority for me now. I need to check what affinities I have."

He looked out of the library window, realizing it was now evening. Time had passed quickly as he immersed himself in study.

At that moment, the library door opened softly, and Orion turned to see Rina and Liora quietly stepping in, carrying a tray with tea and snacks.

They had left to prepare snacks for him, seeing that he had missed his lunch.

"Master Orion, you haven't had lunch yet," Rina smiled gently, placing the tray on his table.

Liora timidly nodded, quietly pouring tea into a cup. "Please have some refreshments."

Orion smiled appreciatively, warmly looking at them both. "Thank you, Rina, Liora. You're very considerate."

He reached for the cup, taking a sip, enjoying the soothing aroma. Leaning back, he savored the taste while gazing out of the window.

"Oh yeah, Rina, do you know about the guests who were going to arrive today?" He just remembered that some guests were going to arrive.

Rina quickly replied, "Master, the guests were supposed to arrive in the evening. So they can be here any time now."

He continued sipping tea, quickly finishing it off, and stood up. "Okay then, how do I look? Am I presentable enough?" he asked, raising his hand so they could have a better look.

Fiora quickly nodded her head, her eyes glued to Orion's body, while Rina stepped forward and straightened his clothes.

"Mmm… Master, should we brush your hair? They seem… out of place." She tried to think of words to describe how he was looking without sounding rude, but she couldn't think of anything.

Orion chuckled and sat down on the chair, "Sure, you both can do as you wish. Just don't take too long. I don't wanna make the guests wait if they are already here."

"Hehe, don't worry, Master. If the guests were already here, then Old Master Eldric would have already sent someone to invite you over." Rina giggled and brought out two brushes.

Both of them stood on each side of him and began softly brushing his hair.

Rina felt the silky smooth hair of his; not being able to control her curiosity, she asked, "Master, how do you have such good hair? You even put most beautiful women to shame in this regard."

Orion nearly laughed out loud hearing her words, "Haha, it's due to my proper diet. You should eat healthy, and you will have such hair in no time."

Fiora quietly remembered his words, making sure to improve her diet. On the other hand, Rina didn't buy it, "Master, if you don't want to tell us, then there is no need to lie as well," she said with a slightly accusing voice.

Orion shook his head softly, "Well then, it's all natural. I had this type of hair since I was born."

"Mm… that's more believable. Master was born different indeed." Rina continuously nodded her head, totally agreeing with what he said.

Soon, they finished brushing his hair, standing back, they looked at him with admiration, as if looking at a piece of art crafted by nature itself.

Orion looked at a mirror, nodding to himself, 'Hmm, enough to become a superstar in my last life.' He quietly laughed before turning around.

"Let's go, let's see who these guests are." Orion walked towards the exit of the library. He knew he couldn't finish all the books in here in a day or two.

And Grandpa Eldric had given him a month's time to get familiar with everything as well before he would help him awaken.

Walking through the corridor, Orion thought about the books he read, especially about the magic and affinity book. He had become extremely interested in magic from the day he saw Eldric using his thunder magic.

'Will my Dragon elements be different as well? I'm not a normal True Dragon after all.' He curiously thought. He knew that the elements Dragons wielded were stronger than the elements controlled by other races.

They had an innate supremacy against all other races. That's why if a Fire Dragon fought against a Fire Wizard, the Fire Dragon would win 10 out of 10 times.

Rina and Fiora obediently followed behind him, walking towards the main hall of the mansion.

"Hahaha, Uncle Eldric, Aunt Selene, long time no see!" A warm voice echoed through the spacious hall as a middle-aged man entered, accompanied by a graceful-looking woman and a young teenage girl.

Eldric's face brightened immediately as he stepped forward to greet them, his arms wide in welcome. "Haha, Reynold! It's been too long, my boy. Come here and give this old man a hug."

Reynold chuckled heartily, embracing Eldric warmly. The atmosphere quickly turned lively, filled with friendly laughter and smiles.

"Good to see you again, Aunt Selene," Reynold greeted affectionately after releasing Eldric.

"Oh, Reynold, you've grown so much since the last time I saw you," Selene teased, smiling warmly as she embraced him lightly.

Reynold laughed, waving off the compliment modestly, "Ah, Aunt Selene, you're still as charming as ever."

Eldric turned to the graceful woman beside Reynold, offering a welcoming smile. "Amelia, you haven't aged a day. Still as radiant as ever."

Amelia smiled gently, elegantly bowing her head, "Thank you, Uncle Eldric. It's always a pleasure to visit you both."

Selene stepped closer, affectionately grasping Amelia's hand, "Amelia dear, I've missed your company. How have you been these days?"

"Busy managing Reynold's mess," Amelia joked, giving Reynold a playful look, earning hearty laughter from everyone.
