Doulou Dalu 53

Bibi Dong's fifth soul skill had never been explicitly described in the original novel, but at this moment, she unleashed it.

"Fifth soul skill: Spider Emperor's Execution!"

As her soul ring lit up, a massive purple blade of energy descended from the sky, cutting through the air with devastating force.

At this point, Bibi Dong had yet to obtain the Eternal Wound. Being a perfectionist, she was determined to select the most optimal and powerful soul ring combinations for her second martial soul.

The Spider Emperor's Execution was one of her most formidable long-range, single-target attacks. Additionally, she possessed the sixth soul skill: Bloodsucking Spider Sting, an ability capable of affecting multiple enemies at once.

She also had three powerful ten-thousand-year soul skills from the Soul-Devouring Spider Emperor, but she chose not to reveal her trump cards just yet. Those were reserved for her ultimate opponent, Tang Huo'er, the Wheel of Destruction.

The purple energy blade cleaved through the seven members of the Power Clan. This attack was nearly impossible to evade since Bibi Dong had complete control over its trajectory.

This technique bore some resemblance to her Soul-Devouring Spider Emperor's first ten-thousand-year soul skill, Half Moon, which could launch eight crescent-shaped green energy blades, making it more suited for group combat.

In an instant, the Power Clan's warriors were decimated. Three of them—mere Soul Masters—were bisected before they could even react. Their lifeless bodies plummeted to the ground.

Among the remaining four, only Lei Ba and another Soul King barely survived by activating protective shields. The two remaining Soul Masters collapsed onto the arena floor, writhing in agony.

Bibi Dong knew that engaging in close combat against the Power Clan would be unwise. Their brute strength made them formidable at melee range, but they lacked strong defenses, especially against control-based and long-range attacks—unlike the Yu Clan, which possessed superior defensive formations.

Faced with Bibi Dong's level 62 soul power and her most potent ranged attack, the Power Clan's Soul Masters stood no chance. The two who survived were fortunate—the Spider Emperor's Execution had missed their vital points.

Lei Ba, the last to be struck, managed to block part of the attack with his shield, though the other Soul King beside him was visibly shaken.

Staring at the lifeless bodies of his comrades, Lei Ba's grief quickly turned to fury.

"We'll fight her to the death!" he roared, eyes blazing with rage.

Just as Lei Ba and the other Soul King prepared to charge at Bibi Dong, their bodies stiffened, their limbs growing numb as their vision blurred.

"Death Spider Web Bind!"

Bibi Dong had no intention of dragging out the battle. Before her opponents could react, thick spider webs erupted from the ground, ensnaring them completely.

These webs had a paralytic effect, expanding upon entanglement and releasing purple poisonous gas. Now that Bibi Dong had reached the Soul Emperor rank, she could generate enough webs to immobilize even a ten-thousand-year soul beast, let alone two human Soul Kings.

Moreover, the Power Clan warriors had no resistance to poison. Their strength deteriorated rapidly, leaving them defenseless.

Bibi Dong's expression flickered with hesitation. She had won—there was no doubt about that.

But...

The Spirit Hall's command was clear: the entire Power Clan was to be eliminated.

Clenching her jaw, Bibi Dong unleashed another wave of poisonous mist from the webbing. The dense purple fog enveloped Lei Ba, the Soul King, and the remaining Soul Masters, their muffled screams barely audible.

She didn't have the heart to kill them outright. But poisoning them to death? That was no less cruel.

From the stands, the audience could barely make out the figures writhing within the toxic cloud.

"Witch of the Spirit Hall, I'll kill you!"

A thunderous voice roared across the arena.

A towering figure with white hair leaped from the stands, charging toward the battlefield, his face contorted with fury.

"Huh?"

The spectators were stunned.

"That's Titan, the leader of the Power Clan!"

The Haotian Sect members watching the match were equally shocked.

Just as Titan was about to intervene, Ju Douluo descended from the VIP section, landing squarely in front of him.

"Master Titan," Ju Douluo said coldly, "this is Douhun Mountain. If you dare interfere, have you considered the consequences for your Power Clan?"

Ju Douluo wasn't afraid. Though Titan was only a level 79 Soul Sage, his raw physical strength rivaled that of a Titled Douluo. Given his ability to break the arena's restrictions, Ju Douluo had stepped in to stop him.

Titan's body trembled with rage. "Spirit Hall, I will fight you to the death!"

Stomping the ground, he released his seven soul rings.

"Hmph, old man, you're asking for death!"

Ju Douluo—a level 91 Titled Douluo—sneered. Though effeminate in appearance, he was a ruthless warrior in his sixties. Without hesitation, he summoned his Qirong Tongtian Chrysanthemum Martial Soul, preparing to strike.

"BOOM!"

A massive purple hammer crashed down from the sky, intercepting Ju Douluo's attack. The arena floor shattered, sending shards of metal and stone flying. The force of the impact forced both Ju Douluo and Titan to retreat.

A lone figure descended onto the battlefield.

Upon seeing him, Titan's anger was immediately replaced with reverence.

"Master..."

"Tang Hao?"

Ju Douluo's expression darkened. Though Tang Hao was only a Soul Douluo, his sheer presence was overwhelming.

Even at this level, Tang Hao exuded an aura of destruction that sent shivers down Ju Douluo's spine. If he ever became a Titled Douluo, he would be a grave threat to the Spirit Hall.

Compared to Tang Xiao, the acting leader of the Haotian Sect, the Spirit Hall elders knew that Tang Hao—bloodthirsty and relentless—was far more dangerous.

Tang Hao glanced at Titan and then at the battlefield. The poisonous mist had dissipated. Seeing the lifeless bodies, his expression turned grim.

With a sigh, he turned and began to walk away.

Ju Douluo smirked. "That's right, Tang Hao. In Douhun Mountain, life and death are dictated by the arena's rules. I hope the Haotian Sect can keep its subordinates in check."

"Hmph... Spirit Hall, I, Tang Hao, will settle this debt one day!"

Suddenly, a chilling murderous aura radiated from Tang Hao.

Ju Douluo, despite being a Titled Douluo, involuntarily took several steps back.

The entire arena fell into silence.

But in an instant, Tang Hao retracted his killing intent and left.

Ju Douluo exhaled slowly. "Is this the power of the Death God's domain? Tang Hao, you're truly formidable. But one day, the Spirit Hall will destroy you."

The announcer, sensing the tense atmosphere, finally spoke.

"The match is over. Spirit Hall versus the Power Clan. The Spirit Hall is victorious."

As the battlefield was cleared, Bibi Dong left without a word.

Watching the corpses on the ground, Lin Fan sighed.

"I was worried for nothing. At level 62, with twin martial souls and multiple ten-thousand-year soul skills, Bibi Dong is already stronger than Zhao Wuji in the original novel. She would never lose to mere Soul Kings and Soul Masters."

Beside him, Tang Huo'er narrowed her eyes.

"She didn't even use her second martial soul. Her strength is on another level. Against any normal Soul King, she's unstoppable."
