At this moment, the three girls hovering in the air, each possessing the Ice Phoenix spirit, unleashed their soul skills simultaneously.
"Second Soul Skill: Frost Blade..."
"Third Soul Skill: Frost Array Wall..."
"Fourth Soul Skill: Ice Stab..."
Their abilities were nearly identical, and their combined attack sent a barrage of ice blades and freezing air toward Luna. She was immediately encased in ice, and an ice wall formed before her, blocking any chance of escape.
Lin Fan's expression darkened as he saw Luna's health drop below 500 in mere seconds. She wasn't invincible. If she were to be defeated here, it could take days for her to resurrect. With the increasing difficulty of battles, resurrection and recovery times had grown longer. Lin Fan had no intention of letting his summoned heroes perish unless absolutely necessary.
Without hesitation, he activated Ruthless Charge, shattering the ice wall with a single punch engulfed in purple flames. In an instant, he grabbed Luna and used the second phase of Ruthless Charge to propel them both into the air.
The three Ice Phoenix girls were hovering just ten meters above the ground. Lin Fan closed in swiftly and commanded Luna, "Use your skills! Take them all down!"
Luna nodded and activated her passive sprint, dashing toward Shui Qing'er and the other two girls. She executed Xuan Yue Zhan, marking all three of them and instantly disrupting their formation.
With swift, precise strikes from her Moonlight Blade, she targeted the frost wings of her airborne opponents. The Ice Phoenix spirit, being a long-range control martial soul, was at a severe disadvantage in close combat. With the Holy Grail's damage boost, Luna's attacks were devastating, rivaling Lin Fan's own without his Shadow Blade enhancement.
Since Luna shared Lin Fan's equipment, her normal attacks with the Moon Blade were just as lethal. The three girls, who were only at the Soul Sect level, couldn't withstand the assault. Their frost wings were severed, and they began plummeting toward the ground.
Lin Fan seized the opportunity. He dove down, grabbing Shui Qing'er mid-air, while Luna caught the other two.
As they fell, Shui Qing'er shouted in desperation, "Quick! Release the cold air and freeze them!"
The three girls activated their Ice Phoenix's freezing ability, but Lin Fan's body ignited with purple flames, instantly melting the ice around him and Luna. He tightened his grip on Shui Qing'er.
Luna, retracting her Moon Blade, firmly grasped the other two girls.
"Damn it! Frost Phoenix—Martial Soul Fusion Technique!" Shui Qing'er shouted as she attempted to reawaken the Ice Phoenix's wings.
One of the girls in Luna's grasp also sensed the fusion attempt and started condensing frost energy.
Lin Fan chuckled, "Fusion? Not on my watch."
With Ruthless Charge still on cooldown, Lin Fan flashed to the ring's edge and effortlessly tossed Shui Qing'er out.
The beautiful girl landed outside the ring with a stunned expression. As soon as she realized what had happened, she jumped to her feet and huffed angrily.
"You're such a scoundrel! This is infuriating!"
Meanwhile, Luna's Crescent Assault came off cooldown just as she landed. She used it again, flinging the remaining two Ice Phoenix girls out of the ring.
Seeing their team eliminated, the two remaining soul masters exchanged glances, shook their heads, and stepped off the stage voluntarily.
A young lady on the floating platform picked up the microphone and announced:
"Haotian Sect versus Ice Phoenix Clan—Haotian Sect wins! The match is now concluded."
Lin Fan approached Luna, noticing that her health had dropped below 200. He quickly sent her back to the fountain for recovery, knowing it would take a few days before she could be summoned again.
"Luna, next time, wait until the enemy is marked before using your third skill. That way, you won't get interrupted and can maintain your combo. Also, when escaping, use your passive sprint toward an enemy, mark them, then use Crescent Assault to retreat. This will buy you some time. Got it?"
Luna pondered for a moment, then nodded slightly. "Understood. Thank you, Master."
Although she acknowledged his advice, her expression remained cool and composed—far from the cheerful demeanor of Daji. Perhaps her original persona was just like this. The Fairy Zixia version of her might be more arrogant.
"Alright, you can go back now," Lin Fan said, recalling her. She needed rest, and keeping her around any longer would make her seem less like a summoned entity.
Suddenly, one of the defeated Ice Phoenix girls, instead of being upset, blushed and looked at Lin Fan with admiration.
"Brother Lin Fan! If she isn't your girlfriend, then… can you be my boyfriend?"
Lin Fan froze. He recognized her as the girl who had been blushing ever since the match started. He hadn't expected her to be bold enough to confess.
Feeling awkward, he scratched his head and replied, "Uh… well, we're still too young. Let's think about it later."
Before the girl could respond, Shui Qing'er stomped over, slapped her on the head, and dragged her away. "You crazy girl! Stop embarrassing yourself!"
Lin Fan returned to the stands. As he passed Shui Yue'er, she glanced at him and whispered, "Thank you."
Though they lost, the Ice Phoenix Team had already secured their place in the finals. With many strong contenders eliminated, they still had a solid chance of finishing in the top ten, especially with their martial soul fusion ability.
Meanwhile, Tang Huo'er and Liu Erlong couldn't contain their curiosity and questioned Lin Fan about Luna's origins.
Lin Fan shrugged and gave a half-truth, "She's a summoned creature from another world. It's a special ability called 'Spiritualism.' My master established the contract, and even I don't fully understand it."
His explanation sounded dubious, but Tang Huo'er and Liu Erlong had no choice but to accept it for now.
With the day's matches over, only one preliminary round remained—the Haotian Sect versus the Demon Sect.
This match was expected to be the most dangerous yet. Tang Huo'er, deeply concerned for Lin Fan's safety, initially forbade him from competing. But after he assured her that he would teleport away if more than four Demon Sect members entered the stage, she reluctantly agreed.

The Final Battle Begins
Before each match, neither team knew how many players the other would send out. Unless there was an overwhelming mismatch, additional players were not allowed to be added mid-battle.
Lin Fan stepped onto the stage confidently. To his surprise, the Demon Sect had only sent three fighters.
The Demon Sect members were equally shocked to see Lin Fan alone. They had expected Tang Huo'er to fight or at least join Lin Fan. Their hesitation showed they feared a repeat of last year's massacre, where Tang Huo'er had slaughtered five of their strongest warriors.
Seeing only Lin Fan, the three Demon Sect members smirked.
"Haotian Sect must not care about your life, sending you alone against us," one of them sneered.
Their lineup consisted of one Soul King and two Soul Masters.
Lin Fan smirked. "You guys are cowards. Last year, you lost five fighters, and now your strongest Soul Kings are too scared to show up."
The Soul King's eyes darkened. "You've won a few lucky fights, but you've never defeated a true Soul King. Get ready to die."
His vampire bat martial soul emerged as he entered battle mode. His face turned blood-red, and sharp fangs protruded from his mouth.
The two Soul Masters followed suit, activating their vampire crow martial souls, their faces turning pitch-black.
Lin Fan activated his Sky Eye, a golden sigil appearing on his forehead. He chuckled. "A real Soul King? You? You look more like a street performer with that goofy grin."
