"It's you…"

Yu Ziye sneered as he saw Lin Fan step forward, standing protectively in front of Liu Erlong. He let out a burst of laughter, shaking his head mockingly.

"Hahaha! So it's you, the so-called genius. You made some noise in the preliminaries, sure, but let's be real—you only beat some nobodies. A mere level 34 Soul Master dares to stand before me? Your talent is so pathetic that it's almost amusing."

Lin Fan, unfazed by the insult, smirked. "Heh… I won't argue with you. But if a level 55 Soul King like you loses to someone like me, wouldn't that make you even more pathetic?"

Yu Ziye's smile faltered for a second, but before he could respond, a female Soul King standing beside him stepped forward, her gaze cold and disdainful.

"I never expected a disgraceful half-breed like you, Liu Erlong, to have the audacity to challenge your own blood," she said, looking Liu Erlong up and down with contempt.

Liu Erlong, however, did not flinch. Her golden eyes burned with determination as she stepped forward. "I'm not here to prove anything to you. This is my battle, and I will settle it with my own hands."

Tang Huoer, standing nearby, frowned. "Erlong, Lin Fan, why are you two making a scene right before the finals? Do you really have to fight here?"

Liu Erlong, her voice steady and resolute, shook her head. "I'm sorry, Senior Sister. This is something I must do myself."

Yu Ziye chuckled darkly, throwing an arm around the female Soul King's waist, his fingers tracing along her thigh in an unsettling manner. "Yu Xiaomeng, did you hear that? This little girl wants to defeat you."

Lin Fan's expression darkened in disgust. "That's enough," he said coldly. "This guy is begging for a beating. Erlong, why waste your energy on him when I can finish him off in seconds?"

Tang Huoer looked at Lin Fan with concern. "Are you sure? He's a Soul King, and his martial soul is the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex. He's no ordinary opponent."

Lin Fan flashed a confident grin. "Senior Sister, have a little faith in me. You handle the rest—I'll deal with these two."

Without another word, he dashed forward. In an instant, his Purple Flame Fire Tiger armor flared to life, and his Shadow Battle Axe materialized in his grip.

Yu Ziye narrowed his eyes. He had been acting arrogantly, but he wasn't foolish. He knew that twin martial souls, ten-thousand-year soul rings, and someone who could use multiple martial souls simultaneously couldn't be judged by normal power rankings.

"Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus, possess!" Yu Ziye roared. His body underwent a dramatic transformation—blue dragon scales spread across his skin, his muscles swelled, and his eyes gleamed with electric energy.

"Your martial soul might be special," he admitted, "but the gap in our soul power is too large. You can't possibly defeat me."

Without hesitation, Yu Ziye launched his first soul skill, Dragon Scale Fist, aiming a crushing punch straight at Lin Fan's axe.

Lin Fan scoffed. "You're really trying to block my axe with your bare fist? You must be suicidal."

He tightened his grip on the Shadow Battle Axe and swung it with full force.

At the last second, Yu Ziye's instincts screamed at him—danger!

"Second soul skill—Dragon Arm!" He activated his skill just before impact. His arm thickened, dragon scales reinforced by blue flames covering his limb like armor.

CRACK!

A burst of blue blood sprayed into the air as Lin Fan's axe tore through the dragon-scaled arm. Yu Ziye let out a pained howl, stumbling backward. His gaze locked onto Lin Fan, wide with shock.

"How…? My Dragon Arm can withstand a direct hit from most weapons, but your attack…"

Lin Fan smirked. "Still think your martial soul is superior? Even your level 55 strength can't stop me."

Yu Ziye took a deep breath, his shock quickly replaced by a grin. "Not bad. Given time, you might even surpass me. But that time isn't now. My Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex isn't just known for its power—it has insane regeneration."

He stretched out his arm, and to Lin Fan's surprise, the wound healed almost instantly. Blue flames surged over his body as his vitality surged back.

Lin Fan frowned. "A regenerative martial soul, huh? That's going to be a problem…"

Yu Ziye's grin widened. "Now, let me show you a real attack!"

Lin Fan barely had time to react before Yu Ziye vanished, his speed suddenly doubling.

Tyrannosaurus Wind Fist!

Blue lightning-infused flames erupted from Yu Ziye's fist as he closed in.

Lin Fan's instincts kicked in. "Ruthless Charge!"

His body blurred as he dodged at the last possible moment, appearing behind Yu Ziye. His axe shifted, transforming into a purple flame spear.

Yu Ziye spun around, eyes gleaming. "Nice trick. But it won't save you."

He activated his third soul skill—Thunder Tyrannosaurus Armor—and his entire body was engulfed in a crackling blue aura.

Lin Fan clicked his tongue. "That's going to be annoying to break."

But he wasn't done yet. The Green Lotus Sword Formation materialized beneath Yu Ziye's feet.

"What the—?"

Six flying swords appeared around Yu Ziye, locking him in place.

Yu Ziye's arrogance disappeared in an instant. "No… This is—!"

"Too late."

Lin Fan thrust his spear forward, its tip crackling with purple flames.

The unparalleled national hero strike!

Eight consecutive slashes struck Yu Ziye's Thunder Armor, each attack cracking its defenses.

"Impossible! My armor—!"

The lightning shell shattered.

"NO!" Yu Ziye roared as Lin Fan's spear pierced his chest.

BOOM!

Yu Ziye was sent flying backward, coughing up blood. His body crashed into the waiting arms of his allies, who barely managed to keep him from collapsing entirely.

Tang Huoer caught Lin Fan as he staggered, exhausted from the relentless battle.

"You did it, Xiaofan," she murmured. "Now, let me handle the rest."

She carried him to Ye Keke, who activated her Nine-Heart Begonia healing ability. A soothing purple glow surrounded Lin Fan as his wounds closed and some of his strength returned.

Lin Fan let out a deep breath. He had fought his hardest, but Yu Ziye's terrifying durability made him realize how difficult the battles ahead would be.

As he watched Liu Erlong's fight against Yu Xiaomeng, a strange realization struck him—despite the level difference, Erlong was growing stronger with every attack.

Yu Xiaomeng's confident smirk faltered. "What the hell is going on? You're just a Soul Sect! How are you keeping up with me?!"

Liu Erlong's lips curled into a fearless grin. "Because I'm done holding back."
