Daji glanced at Luna and said earnestly, "Wherever the enemy is, the master's enemy is my enemy."
Lin Fan was pleased to see Daji and Luna again, but this was not the time for sentimentality. He quickly turned his gaze to the purple-eyed girl standing nearby and commanded, "She's your enemy. Daji, knock her out first. Luna, make sure she stays down until she faints."
Lin Fan had no intention of killing these twin girls with their unusual double pupils. They were too powerful together, and it would be a waste to eliminate them. If he spared their lives, he might find a way to use them in the future. Perhaps when Bibi Dong became Pope, he could make them her most formidable fighters.
Upon hearing Lin Fan's orders, Daji and Luna turned to face the purple-eyed girl.
"The master's orders are absolute," Daji said with a smirk as she swayed her hips and darted forward. She was now outside the range of her dizziness effect.
"For the moon..." Luna whispered before dashing ahead. She moved gracefully, even more elegantly than Daji. In the game, Luna's beauty was evident, but here, her long, snow-white legs were fully visible beneath her flowing, petal-like moonlight skirt.
Lin Fan quickly snapped out of his thoughts. Now wasn't the time to be distracted. They were still in the middle of a fight.
The purple-eyed girl initially looked at Daji and Luna with disdain, but as they approached, panic flickered in her eyes. She quickly realized that her mental attacks were ineffective against them.
A knowing smile appeared on Lin Fan's lips. His guess had been right. The purple-eyed girl's abilities likely relied on sound waves or an attack that affected the brain at a frequency beyond normal human perception, causing instant dizziness.
However, this ability only worked on people from the Douluo Continent. Daji and Luna, coming from another world, had entirely different physical constitutions and were immune.
"Do what the master desires..." Daji murmured as she entered her casting range. She immediately felt the dizziness effect but still managed to release a red heart-shaped energy. The heart struck the already-panicked purple-eyed girl, instantly stunning her.
Just like in the game, the purple-eyed girl froze in place. Luna seized the opportunity, sprinted forward, and unleashed her Crescent Slash, striking the stunned girl with precision.
As soon as the purple-eyed girl regained consciousness, she was marked by the moonlight. Pain wracked her body as Luna's next skill, Crescent Assault, sent her crashing to the ground.
Lin Fan observed the battlefield carefully. Without the purple-eyed girl's spell, the red energy surrounding the red-eyed girl began to dissipate. Without its power, she fell into unconsciousness, her eyes closing as her tail slowly shrank and disappeared into her body.
"Damn it! Fourth Soul Skill—Nine-Tailed Defense!" The purple-eyed girl gritted her teeth as she lay on the ground. Her fourth soul ring glowed, revealing four shimmering purple tails. A protective barrier of purple light enveloped her.
"Hey, sister, you're a fox too! Come play with Daji!" Daji teased, launching a series of heart-shaped attacks—her signature Queen's Worship skill.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Daji's attacks bombarded the purple shield.
The next moment, the barrier shattered completely. The purple-eyed girl's eyes widened in shock just as Luna rushed forward, using her second skill to send her flying.
"Moonlight, obliterate them!"
Luna followed up with a devastating Crescent Impact. The moonblade in her hand slashed across the purple-eyed girl's back, causing her to collapse, coughing up blood.
With her mental attacks disabled, the fight was over. Lin Fan saw his chance and strode toward Luna.
Luna turned to him and nodded slightly. "Master, her health is down to 80 points. Should I finish her off?"
Lin Fan considered it for a moment before shaking his head. "No need. She's lost her combat ability. Just throw her out of the ring later. As for the unconscious red-eyed girl, you've done well."
"Understood, Master," Luna replied. She was about to carry the purple-eyed girl away when Lin Fan stopped her.
Stepping closer to Luna, he looked at her fair, expressionless face and gently stroked her silver hair. "You've gotten stronger this time," he said, admiration in his voice. "From now on, you don't have to call me 'Master.' Daji can, but you can just call me by my name. My name is Lin Fan. Or if you prefer, you can call me 'Brother.'"
"Alright, Brother..." Luna responded softly, showing no hesitation before turning to retrieve the red-eyed girl.
Lin Fan smiled in satisfaction. Luna's in-game brother was Kai, but since he could replicate Kai's abilities, there was no problem being her brother.
However, his satisfaction didn't last long.
A sudden sense of danger overwhelmed him. Lin Fan quickly turned, only to see Tang Jianfeng lying on the ground, poisoned. Spiderwebs wrapped around his body, his arms pierced and trembling. He struggled, but he couldn't stand.
Shui Yue'er and Tang Jingyu had been taken down in an instant. Bibi Dong had defeated them with ease, leaving them unconscious on the stage.
Now, Bibi Dong was coming straight for him, her eyes filled with pure killing intent.
"Damn... I forgot. Luna looks too much like a noble lady. Bibi Dong must be jealous..."
Before Lin Fan could react, a purple shadow appeared before him. Bibi Dong, her long hair billowing and her expression ice-cold, glared at him.
"Wait! Listen to me—"
Before he could finish, a surge of powerful soul force lifted him into the air and hurled him several meters away. He crashed hard onto the golden arena.
"Damn... That hurt..."
Lin Fan gritted his teeth, struggling to breathe as he stood up. Fortunately, Bibi Dong hadn't poisoned him. If she had, he would've been completely defenseless against it and would have died instantly.
But just as he regained his footing, Daji and Luna reacted. They immediately rushed toward him, sensing that their master had been attacked.
"Don't harm the Master. The Master's enemy is Daji's enemy!" Daji declared as she ran toward Bibi Dong, sending out a red heart-shaped stun effect.
However, Bibi Dong's spirit bone granted her immunity to mental attacks, and her soul power far surpassed Lin Fan's. She remained unaffected.
"What is this?" Bibi Dong muttered coldly. A dark green spider spear extended from her back, piercing straight through Daji's body.
"Hey, no—!" Lin Fan shouted, but it was too late.
Daji's health instantly dropped to zero. As her form faded, she let out a final sigh. "Ah… I broke..." And with that, she disappeared.
"Luna, no!" Lin Fan cried out as Luna rushed toward Bibi Dong, her moonblade burning with energy.
Realizing that Luna couldn't die too, Lin Fan quickly activated his system, forcefully recalling her to the other world. Just as Luna was about to strike, she vanished into thin air.
Lin Fan's heart pounded.
His favorite was always Bibi Dong. He had gone to great lengths to help her become Pope, and no matter what, she would always be his number one priority.
The others? They were merely second-tier heroines—loyal to Bibi Dong and nothing more than cherished maids in her presence.
