Chapter Six

"What led to the former rush to a poor performance has never die, it is well and alive. But this time, it is easy, because of absence of some characters. Ifunanya somehow became lonely like flowers that exposed to heat, as the clock strikes upon the hour and sun begins to fade, and then again, loneliness continued to fall on her like dew. Just for the few moments that Chikeliuba left her, he left sickness for her. This was exactly her state before she saw someone like him approaching closer and closer until the die is cast. "I can't believe what my eye see", she exclaimed, jumped immediately and all her strength that has gone are back again. Including the melodic love song that has gone out of her memory, the song begins again from warmly smiles. Her dead slogan which is "I look for you" come back alive and he begins to shine on her.Love didn't permit her to throw a blow of question as in what bring him back? He also didn't have time to explain to her. Is the question very important that it can become a rival to their love affair? Of course it is! But only for the mind that can adjust acutely. And a man or a woman had never been born who doesn't hold allegiance to loneliness. However, the only solution to loneliness is adjustment. Did both need to adjust in other to progress in their love? Yes! Or maybe! The day is getting late when he started rushing again, he was almost in the car to go to the mining site when he realized that one of the tools is missing. He alighted from the car back to get the remaining tools again, "It is a great curse and shame that I have not adjusted, repeating the same mistake". Said Chikeliuba. But after some moments, Ifunanya was back in his mind, though not physical but through ecstasy and fantasy. He often remembered her love slogan. "I look for you".

"Indeed, our friend is very amiable but he seems to spend much time on one thing him alone knew. I pleaded to say so"! Dona Udoba and.

"You mean Chikeliuba"? Kaodilichukwu asked.

Yes, of course, him! Dona Udoba affirmed.

"Who will believe on earth that he is not back right now? Dona Udoba asked.

"Well, I know little, I am so sure, he must have something that he loved spending much of his time than any other things, either physically, mentally or naturally, though him alone can explain". Said Kaodilichukwu. "That must be pleasure before business, it is only through such moral diverse can one be somewhat weak". Said Kaodilichukwu. Ah...! O, oh! Kaodilichukwu was shouting with gestures that moves his body in motions. "There is no man who will fall in love with Ifunanya and remain committed to himself and other affairs". She must win Miss Love, if it really contestable.

"Is she affiliated to Eros, the Greek God of love"? Dona Udoba enquired.

"Well, besides, she is her own god, unless she knew what many of us may not know. Such that makes Eros an idol god. But heaven forbid, she could have been affiliated with ritual, that would make someone overly entangled in love with her". Said Kaodilichukwu.

Let us not have more talk about their love affair, to me it is natural unless or in a particular part, the mind is set upon something that see us but we don't see it. For this matter of love and trying to find right way through their affairs, while they were very particular indeed about their passion, to me the challenges is too long to bear. It is quite dominant and overwhelming. Said Kaodilichukwu. He proceeded, "they are passionate like citizens and their country, like army and the territory, like police and internal security. He is amiable but he must learn to adjust, because he would never dry the ecstasy in love".

"He can try, maybe we can see him breaking records in love affairs. Such Madhya Pradesh did by building a replica of Taj Mahal to his wife". Dona Udoba returned. "Well, the most difficult thing in the world is when a man is telling his fellow man how to spend his time and where to spend it, after all, there is no time and there is time. Nature balance everything about time, so that no one can outsmart it, but can adjust to make use of it", Kaodilichukwu emphasized. As they were discussing about their colleague who returned home to gather the remaining tools and the relationship between him and his girlfriend was extraordinary. By then the weather is drowning to darkness but just 5 PM at the time. Many of the discussions was full of funny gestures which attracted Mazi Chetechi's attention from where he was reading a book titled "The Pearl", written by John Steinbeck. As he was struggling to realize the characters and the direction and attention from the author, in the other hand, he was trying to key into their conversation because it concerned everyone. However, his own fear came along with sympathy, because on the day they came they saw some people who were victims of accident. So his prayers is to welcome Chikeliuba hale and hearty. He immediately dropped the book to meet them and shared his fears, which in turn attracted attention to focus more on welcoming him hale and hearty. His intervention neutralises a great suspicion and drawn a cotton of peace, which match with a sage by Prasad Mahes that, "the mind is like water, when it is turbulent, it is difficult to see, when it is calm, everything becomes clear".

Not quite long when they agreed to wait for his dear presence, and eventually Chikeliuba arrived, he deeply looked stressed, though he did it with best intentions, one of it was to expose the level of stress in his journey, and to hide he ever came in contact with Ifunanya and to cover up that he left one of the tools and went back to bring it. He was literally frustrated by himself, because he thought his colleagues were more frustrated than him but he was frustrated than anyone else.Consequently, the kind of welcome he received changed everything, only brought peace and harmony amongst them. Despite being filled with sense of guilty, it didn't take a tap to be filled with sense of innocent. His state expressed that, "peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by adjustment. Adjustment is the sky, anything else is just the weather. He was excellently excited in his mind as well, which in real sense, he was contemplating that it was Daddy Celebrant that inspired them or his character could have been the primary reason that brought such great adjustment he found in his colleagues. He was still amazed until everything became natural.
