As Boruko lounged in the corner of the dimly lit room, his face flushed from Maria's teasing, the air shifted suddenly — a cold draft sweeping across the floor. Before he could make sense of it, a swirling vortex materialized right in front of him, its center a dark, endless void.
"Okay, so she's kinda sexy when you think about it... WAIT — seriously? A freaking portal? Like, as if this wasn't already sci-fi enough!" Boruko muttered to himself, more bewildered than frightened.
A figure emerged from the depths of the portal — a shadowy, faceless being. Its presence exuded an eerie calm, and despite its lack of features, Boruko felt an overwhelming sense of recognition, as if he had known this being for lifetimes.
"Don't fear me..." the entity whispered, its voice soothing yet unsettling. "I come from another universe, one where I once lived... before... everything changed."
Boruko blinked, the corners of his mind churning with questions, but before he could speak, the creature continued, its tone slightly more urgent.
"I came as I got to know about you, Boruko Shikato, from a very close connection... A project that was never meant to start, but one that now beckons... a truth so deep, it could unravel all you know." The creature's hands hovered near Boruko's face, an almost comforting gesture, though its intent was unclear.
The alien's voice dropped even lower, almost a whisper. "You are among the few who will uncover the secrets of an Earth yet to be discovered, where an important figure named… Aaron Sorsel... is dying. His end will reshape the future, and his secrets are the last of a kind. He knew of you… And your science. The truth about that new Earth... will soon be realized by someone not from here. Someone you won't expect."
Boruko's head spun with the implications. "Aaron Sorsel?" he murmured. "What does this all mean?"
The figure's hands rippled as if the air itself was distorting around it. "Soon, the truth will unravel, Boruko. Everything will make sense when you are ready to hear it. I will come again when the time is right." With that, the portal began to close, leaving a heavy silence in the room.
Boruko stared at the space, his mind racing. He wasn't sure whether to believe what he had just heard, but one thing was certain — this was far from the end. In fact, it felt like the beginning of something much larger than himself.
"Wait... BORUKO? WHO TOLD HIM MY NAME? Can't be a lie... I don't need to know how..."
TO BE CONTINUED VERY SOON...
