Chapter 02: World of Ultima

Inside the Intergalactic Health-Care Center, the maternity ward was a blend of both Magic and technology sensing a beat or to be more certain a hearth beat of baby, their magic circle and wires were shaking into the swollen belly of Kaela Veyra, a woman with ash-blond hair and eyes like storm clouds. Her hands gripped the bedrails, knuckles white as she bore down.

"Almost there," murmured the midwife, Seri, a half-orc with agametic arms

Kaela, pale and trembling, managed a faint nod, her eyelids fluttering as if each blink required monumental effort.

Seri hesitated, her grip tightening on Kaela's hand. "I know this isn't the right time… but as I said before, you shouldn't have gone through with the pregnancy. Not now."

A weak smile flickered across Kaela's lips, her voice a ragged thread. "No. I wanted this. Even if it meant raising them alone."

"The galaxy isn't as stable as it seems." Seri's gaze drifted to the window, where stars blurred past like distant memories. "The 28th Inter-Galactic War is looming. You and the child… you'll face hardships I can't even—" She cut herself off, exhaling sharply. "Please don't take this the wrong way."

Kaela's fingers curled around Seri's, surprisingly firm. "I know what you mean. Without your help… I never could've made it this far." Her breath hitched, but her eyes burned with resolve. "But this child is mine"

Seri the is the one of the top doctors in the entirety of the Neon Citadel and Kaela's childhood friend and she is the only person Kaela trust in the whole world and she how much Kaela's been suffering all this time

To Seri, Kaela's is her best friend but to the world Kaela's is the descendent of the forbidden Race

Ultima is the intergalactic Empire Which operate with the Absolute Intergalactic Monarchy at its core It's the 3rd biggest intergalactic nation in the universe with 4.95-billion-star system under it's territory being one of the top 5 intergalactic power in the universe

Ultima and Herion have been in Cold war for last 100,000 years Herion being the 2nd biggest Intergalactic nation with 5.03-billion-star system under its territory have been in friction due to their different ways they governed their nation Ultima being a monarchy type system and Herion being a Democratic type of System there is bond to have a Friction when they meet they share a intergalactic boundary with each other

So, it's no hard to determine that there is bound to be a war in the near future which will change the entire intergalactic map it was easily predictable that there is going to be 21st intergalactic war in the near future

Kaela is the C- Grade powerhouse whit huge amount of Fame and Strength her power and abilities are strong enough of to compare with powerhouse of A- Grade only reason she is being weak is due to being a grand-daughter of Nephilim

Nephilim are known one of the Strongest races in the universe their ability and power ranges from Ranked Race to SSS-Rank Race in order to for Nephilim to born union of Demon and Angel is a must and during their birth you need to sacrifice 3 people from different races Stronger the Sacrifice, Stronger the Nephilim, this also why Nephilim know as a Forbidden Race

Kaela's grandmother was created as a Weapon of war as a result the whole universe know about her existence, but her race has a trait know as [Recessive Genes] which is the result that her descendant will always be weaker than her as she the weapon of war her [Recessive Genes] was a S-Grade trait which means anyone carrying her bloodline or connected to her by blood will always be weaker than her

Kaela's mother was from the race know as [Corrupted Angel] (S-Grade) and she was [Cursed Angel] (C-Garde). Her grandmother was a ranked race and her mother (S-Grade) which was significantly dropped in strength so Kaela's knew that her child will be even weaker than her based on that and the upcoming war the life she and her child is going to live will be akin to hell

Kaela's mother was from the race know as [Corrupted Angel] (S-Grade)

As an Angelic race she had access to the Divine power but unlike other Angelic races every time she uses her Divine power, she loses a part of her sanity

Kaela's was from the race know as [Cursed Angel] (C-Grade)

She also possesses Divine power same as her mother but unlike her mother her power and ability are around A-Grade but unlike her mother who loses her sanity every time she uses her power she loses her life-force that means more she uses her power, shorter she will have to live

"How is it, is there any complication with birth? is the child is fine?" The Man

After the brief moment of silence Seri "It's a girl, and everything is 1fine"

At this point Seri felt like punching this man because she was one of the best doctors in the entire planet and since the beginning of inter-galactic era complication with childbirth is reduced to 0% asking a doctor thing like "complication with birth" is same as insulting them to the face only reason Seri was clam was due her professional duty as the doctor
