Wanda's Parallel Space-Time Massacre

For a super agent like Natasha Romanoff, death was nothing new or unacceptable. Every mission came with the possibility of death.

Given her background and years of high-risk operations, death wasn't an uncommon outcome. In fact, dying with minimal pain was one of her greatest hopes.

People in her line of work didn't shy away from death.

"It's not inevitable!" Nick Fury said. "No matter what the truth of our world is, at least now we know it in advance and we can change it. Do you really think we're just a story world?"

"Maybe, but considering Luo Chen's time travel, we must have become the real world. Otherwise, all of this doesn't make sense—unless he is also a character in some other story!" Natasha Romanoff replied.

"That makes sense," Nick Fury nodded. "But since we both have copies of this diary, that means other people might have them too. Some names are mentioned in the diary. The key is to find out whether they have the diary or not!"

Natasha nodded in agreement, as both of them were mentioned in the diary, and both had just received their copies. Neither of them believed it was a coincidence—they'd rather believe it was some kind of rule.

"A lot of the information in this diary pertains to the future, not the present. If it's exposed to the wrong people, it could cause huge risks!" Nick Fury said.

Once he learned that Natasha Romanoff had a copy of the diary, he realized that owning the diary wasn't unique to him, or even to the two of them. Other people likely had copies too.

"Alright, it's time to reach out to Tony Stark," Nick Fury said.

As for Tony Stark, Nick Fury had never wanted to contact him before. Howard Stark, Tony's father, was a founding member of S.H.I.E.L.D., but Howard himself had never told Tony about it, clearly not wanting him to get involved.

In the past, Nick Fury had avoided dealing with Tony Stark. It wasn't because of Stark's sharp tongue, but because there seemed to be no need to engage with him. If they needed weapons, they could just go through the proper channels.

But now, after reading the diary, Fury saw a new possibility for Tony Stark: the chance of him joining the Avengers as Iron Man.

It was something Fury had never considered before.

Now, it was something to think about. In the original timeline, Stark had indeed joined the Avengers.

"This diary should be controlled as much as possible. Or rather, whoever owns this copy of the diary should be kept under our watch!" Nick Fury said. "Otherwise, if the information spreads uncontrollably, who knows what kind of chaos will ensue?"

This was Fury's biggest headache because not everyone had the discretion to keep secrets.

If ordinary people, like the girl named Gwen, got their hands on this information, it could cause huge problems. No matter what the diary said about the future or what kind of Spider-Woman Gwen might become, she wasn't Spider-Woman yet, so if she leaked the news now, things could spiral out of control.

"We just can't get close to Luo Chen," Natasha Romanoff said.

"Yes, that's the most troubling part. We need to learn more about the future from his diary, but we can't get close to him directly. That's the real problem!" Nick Fury admitted, frustrated.

Looking at the diary, he remarked, "It seems like he's quite interested in you. He thinks you're at the peak of your looks and physique!"

Natasha Romanoff smiled slightly, a touch of smugness on her face. She was confident in her appearance and figure.

"From what he's written, Natasha Romanoff, you seem to be a dream goddess outside the fourth wall. Countless people must admire you!" Nick Fury joked.

Before Natasha could respond, new words appeared in the diary:

"After the Widow's death, the rest of Marvel are monsters and ghosts, each one more abstract than the last. Only Wanda stands tall, but did Wanda die in the end or not?

Tsk, tsk. Wanda's killing spree across different universes is no ordinary thing. This shows one truth: don't offend a woman, especially one who has lost her husband and child. Really!

And speaking of which, those people from the Shield Bureau are hardly human. They helped save the world, and then you turned around and dismantled their husbands like parts. You're really something!

But the biggest surprise? Quicksilver from the X-Men made a guest appearance. I couldn't stop laughing.

The Quicksilver in this universe? Probably the most embarrassed speedster—shot to death by Ultron, an absolute embarrassment. Dying as soon as you make an appearance. What a joke!"

Another series of complaints followed. Clearly, Luo Chen was in a special complaining mood today. His diary had been written in a much simpler style lately, almost as if waiting for another day when Tony Stark would be kidnapped. But today, he had vented more than usual—there seemed to be no rules, just his frustrations spilling out.

"It looks like this all happened after you died!" Nick Fury remarked after reading the changes in the diary. "I'm just not sure when it will happen. It seems like he really resents the decline of his own appearance!"

"This Wanda girl... I've heard of her before. She's always been described as having a good figure..." Natasha Romanoff paused as she spoke, feeling a strange sense of competition.

Looking at Luo Chen's record, it seemed like Wanda had a figure even more remarkable than her own. But that feeling of comparison only lasted a moment, and she quickly continued, "I thought she was just a vase-like character in a story, but now it seems she might actually be the protagonist, or at least a heroine. She can cross universes and kill people across different dimensions. She's probably one of the 'Extraordinary'!"

"Yes, that seems likely," Nick Fury said. "With current science and technology, it's impossible to verify if parallel universes exist.

In the foreseeable future, science and technology won't allow us to travel to other universes.

So, it's very likely that this girl is a superhero from the 'Extraordinary' side of things.

I just don't know if it's magic, witchcraft, or something else entirely."
