Captured

All the soldiers soon lured the demons to the brink if the forest and awaited Alex's first attack.

Alex shot the first at one and a soldier deployed it. He did the same to another and so it went on.

This technique was effective and was really in favour of those of that sector, if not by now who knows how many of them would be left.

After about ten minutes they were done with all the demons and the rest of the demons retreated using a magical teleportation spell casted by a titan.

"Yes, we won," Alex said as the last if the demons retreated.

By this time, the merge was completely over for all the realms and dimensions.

The rest of that sector left for the medics as some were gravely injured but not too soon before laying their thanks while Alex left for his sector.

Alex raced back to the main town hoping that his absence would not be noticed by too much soldiers meanwhile General Keiren stood from his tower watched all that transpired with his SSS-rank Praising eye.

Now it was time for the awakened assigned sector to begin their work as they would begin to appear in line with the prophesy.

[Reincarnation in progress…]

[Progressing….]

[Reincarnation complete]

[Welcome to the Alpha Realm]

[Welcome to Eldoria]

[System acquired]

He was reincarnated into a isle, the Alpha world in the middle of a dense forest - Asphire forest.

The merge was progressed in two layers.

The first was destroy. All the realms and dimensional barriers where destroyed at the same time leaving each one open to the other.

The second layer was selective combination. A little fragment of each realm would be selected to form a part of the Alpha world while the greater segment left forms a part of the Omega world.

The Alpha realm was saturated with bright light and full of life and vibrant energy. All the survivors from the merge ended up there while the Omega realm was compact with demons and monsters, unhabitable for any average powered person.

"Where am I?"

[Congratulations! Welcome to Eldoria]

"Who said that?"

[System acquired]

"System! Wait Eldoria, this isn't Aedes city."

Caught in his confusion, he heard a voice coming from within the forest, "I think I heard one over there."

Soldiers from the Syllox Force rushed towards him before mounting him.

"What going on? What did I do wrong?"

His words proved inert to their actions.

The soldier pulled him up and cuffed him.

The soldier threw down a pad like device previously hanging from the brim of his uniform. He streched his arm towards it and said some words.

The device generated a swirling vortex of light in which it's other end could just barely be seen.

"Where are you taking me? I didn't do

anything wrong. Let go of me."

The soldier couldn't careless of the little boy. All that was important to him was doing as he was instructed.

'No, not this again. I still feel weird from the first,' he said as he transitioned into his destination.

After a few seconds, he found himself in an empty room with a little bed by the side and an empty bucket at one corner of the room.

"A Cell! What am I doing here? I thought I made it clear to that soldier that I didn't do any wrong. Good thing I took note of his face. He's gonna pay."

He scanned the walls and tiling inscribing the the cell. It was actually quite furnished. One could just barely tell the difference between it and a four star hotel.

Behind him were the cell's bars. He turned toward the bars and looked out into the hallway which revealed numerous cells ranging along the passage and from above to below with people inside of them.

"Wow, this place is this big. I wonder why we are all here?"

Contrary to a prison atmosphere which is usually dead quiet, this one had a hint of disfavour in its calm nature.

He could here a mumbling.. no a dripping sound. More accurately, someone was weeping. It sounded like the sound was coming from the next cell across the hall.

He moved closer despite being already at minimum distance from the bars.

Xavier could just barely see into the cell with such little light penetrating the environment. Who ever it was, from what he could see, they were wrapped up in a corner of their cell.

"Hey, are you okay. What's your name?", he said in a subtle voice hoping to be heard amidst the contemporary sound.

Contrary to Xavier's disposition towards Millo, he was actually a really nice guy with a bit of a temperament.

"Ya, I am alright just a bit anxious."

"You sure?"

"Ya. I just wonder why we are hear and what they will do to us."

Xavier thought it was probably only him that was thrown in here unjustly but from the girl's words he was beginning to deduce that everyon in here must bear the same story.

He could tell it was a girl from her voice. As she said this, she sniffed in and wiped the tears off her face.

"My name is Lyra and you?"

"Xavier. Xavier Von."

"So your from around here?", he thought it would hurt to know a bit about this new world incase an escape plan was in order.

"Ya. I'm from the great city."

"...", Xavier gave a null face, unaware of what she was talking about.

"You know, Calyx. The Celestial City."

"..."

"Wow, you must be from far away to not know Calyx. Wait are you from another world?" , she said excitedly.

"Ya. Aedes city on earth. How did you know?"

Well it's all writing in a scroll passed on for a long time. Every one in Eldoria is quite familiar with the prophesy but I can seem to remember the exact quote.

Why?

I'm think I bumped my head when I got here so my memory is still a bit fuzzy. It will probably come back after the pain subsided.

This only peaked Xavier's curiosity even higher, 'A prophesy, about people coming from another world. I need to somehow get that scroll to understand what exactly I'm supposed to do in this world.'

The two talked for a long time, even past twilight before the finally gave into the night slumber.
