chapter 5 That Damn Demon

Olivia's POV

When Morning came, I check the time and it was almost 9 in the morning, I'm late. Fucking great!

I missed my first class. Ughh! Why did anyone wake me up. I hurried myself and went down.

"Abby, I'm going. I'm late" I shout

"What? Marcus said you weren't feeling well that's why he said you're not going to school, that's why I planned on checking on you after cooking you this meal"

My jaw dropped. He knew very well that I was fine. That damn demon.

"I'm fine" I say gritted teeth, I didn't wait for her to respond instead I left hurriedly.

When I got to school, I went to my second class because I missed the first. I went to find Marcus and I slammed my hand on the table.

"How could you do that?! How dare you do that to me? After all the help I have given you!" I shout at him

"What did I do now?" He asks raising one eyebrow, acting all innocent

"I thought you weren't feeling well? Are you okay now? I was about to visit you again?" Kelvin says and I glared at Marcus

"He lied. I'm fine. This friend of yours, turned off my phone and told Abby to not wake me up"

"Marcus why would you do that?" Kelvin asks He looked at me with…I don't understand what emotions he was portraying but I don't care.

Then he smirked and go near my ear to whisper "I told you to leave, didn't I? I'm just starting, so better lock your door well, sweetheart" I shivered. Then He picked up his bag and walked away.

"I hate that guy" I say staring at his disappearing figure and sat down

"I'm sorry for what he did" Kelvin says apologetically

I smiled "You didn't do anything wrong. He's the one who's supposed to apologize."

After that, the class started.

When done, Kelvin left me to find Marcus, afraid that he'd get into another fight. I didn't bother coming with him. I don't care what happens to him. I'm just babysitting him, until he's parents arrive and they know very well, he won't ever change.

That's not my problem anymore, as long as he doesn't die.

I ate lunch and kept rubbing my forehead, a sudden head ache went my way.

"You, okay?" Someone asks

I look up to see a random guy smiling at me. I smiled back.

"Yeah, thank you for your concern…uhhh" Trying to ask his name

"Oh uhm, Marrion. I just saw you rubbing your forehead, should I take you to the nurse?" he asks worriedly

"No need, Marrion. Thanks again"

"Okay. See you around, Olivia" he says and walked away, I stare at his back, how the hell did he know my name?blAfter that, I stayed in the cafeteria for a while, as my next class is in 2 hours more. I decided to read a book.

"Olivia" A girls' voice came

"Hey, Cora. What can I do for you" I ask but not letting my eyes leave the book She slams the book down.

"When I call your name, you listen to me" she says and I roll my eyes

"You think being a senior, you can do this shit to me? I'm not afraid of you"

"Really, now?" She asks as she trails her fingers on my jaw which I slapped away

"Touch me again, and that would be the last time you can use those hands" I spat

She chuckled "I'm not even hurting you and you're threatening me, how funny"

"I don't' want trouble. State your business" I say

Most of the students here, when you ask who Cora is, they all going to tell you one thing, she likes new things, new boys, to get into their pants. But there are exceptions, she doesn't go for nerds. It's not that I want to bring her down, because she's also a girl but then again, everyone hates her and she hates everyone too.

"Well, I see that you work for Marcus. Now you get it?"

I smirked "I get it. Now, if you want him, then go to him. Let's see you try."

"It's not that I can't get him. I mean, let's be honest. I'm hot and who wouldn't want me, and as for you…" she pauses, as she looks at me up and down then chuckled "No one would want you"

"I like her and I don't like you" a voice came and we both look and it was Kelvin. Holy shit, did I hear him right? He likes me? Well, don't over react because it might me as friends.

"I got into your pants, didn't I?" Cora says proudly

He looks confused "Huh? When?"

Then Cora huffed "Don't you dare deny it, we both liked it then!"

"Can't remember, maybe because you're not good at what you do" Kelvin says "Are you sure it was me though? I'm a virgin" He admits proudly

My jaw dropped. He's actually admitting it. I look at Cora and she was in the edge of crying. I laughed internally. Then she walked away.

"I can't believe you just said that" I say as we both look at Cora disappearing from our sight

"It's not everyday you hear that. But I'm actually not. I had an ex-girlfriend and she was.
