Alphas do cry

Kaelith sighed and dropped his utensils on the table, albeit a bit loudly, which drew Leonhardt's attention to him. He spoke earnestly, his eyes fixed on Leonhardt's face.

"There's nothing wrong with crying when you remember certain hurtful memories about her. I don't understand why you want to defy the law of emotions. If you remember something painful, you cry, and if it's something joyful, you smile. But do you know that you can cry also even when the memory is beautiful?"

He leaned in slightly, his voice soft yet firm.

"That doesn't make the memory bad. It only shows that you hold her in high regard. So, free yourself."

Leonhardt stared at Kaelith, his expression gradually softening. A smile slowly stretched across his face, widening with each second.

"Your words are comforting," he murmured, releasing a long sigh from his chest. "Actually… that's not the only reason I avoid talking about her."
