A week had passed since the fall of Arlong, and Cocoyashi Village was alive with celebration.
The village buzzed with laughter and music as villagers rejoiced in their newfound freedom.
Nami, now bearing a new tattoo—a pinwheel intertwined with a tangerine—felt a profound sense of liberation.
Leaving the festivities momentarily, Nami visited the site where Arlong Park once stood. In its place now stood a modest two-story wooden house.
As she approached, she observed Kuina in the yard, her movements precise as she practiced sword techniques.
Nearby, Jacob was doing an unconventional exercise, striking a large stone with his fists like a sandbag.
Inside the house, Carina's voice floated through an open window. Curious, Nami paused to listen and realized Carina was mimicking various voices with uncanny accuracy—a skill that could prove invaluable in her work.
Sensing Nami's presence, Jacob ceased training and turned to her with a welcoming smile. "Nami," he called out, wiping sweat from his brow. "Care to join us?"
This wasn't the first time Jacob had extended the invitation. Previously, Nami had hesitated; her trust was hard-earned and not easily given. But now, with Arlong's shadow lifted and witnessing the camaraderie among Jacob's group, she felt a shift within herself.
Taking a deep breath, Nami nodded, a determined glint in her eye. "Alright," she replied, her voice steady. "Let's see what adventures await."
Jacob's grin widened, and he extended a hand to her. "Welcome to The Revenants."

One Month Later
The sun hung high over their training grounds, the air thick with humidity as Jacob leaned against a coconut tree, watching Nami and Nojiko train with their new abilities.
Their alliance had grown, and so had their strength.
Nami had eaten the Kumo Kumo no Mi (Cloud-Cloud Fruit), allowing her to generate and manipulate clouds.
At first, she struggled to control the density of her clouds, making them either too thin to stand on or too dense to move. But after weeks of training, she had mastered forming storm clouds, creating platforms in midair, and even launching small bolts of lightning.
Nojiko, on the other hand, had eaten the Shigeru Shigeru no Mi (Lush-Lush Fruit), allowing her to control and accelerate plant growth.
She could make vines shoot from the ground to ensnare people, reinforce trees into natural fortresses, and even revitalize wilted crops. The fruit gave her a deep connection with nature, and she took to it quickly, using it to transform barren land into flourishing greenery.
He glanced back at Nami, who was summoning a massive thundercloud in the sky, and Nojiko, weaving thick vines into a sturdy wooden bridge.
"They're growing fast," he said. "At this rate, we might even be ready for the Grand Line sooner than I expected."
Carina, who sat beside him, smirked as she twirled a small dagger between her fingers. "Enjoying the view, Flame Boy?"
Jacob chuckled. "Just checking their progress. They're getting stronger."
Kuina sheathed her sword and approached as well. "Strength isn't everything. We need discipline and strategy if we're going to take on bigger threats."
Jacob nodded. "That's why we keep training. The world out there isn't waiting for us to be ready."
Carina stretched, cracking her neck. "Speaking of 'bigger threats,' I heard rumors about a pirate named Krieg making moves. If he's really amassing a fleet, we might want to pay him a visit before he becomes a problem."
Jacob grinned. "Krieg, huh?" Jacob had a personal vendetta with the guy the first time he saw him in the manga.

The moon cast a silver glow over their two-story house, the once-ruined Arlong Park now transformed into a fortress-like wooden home. Inside, Jacob lay in bed with Carina and Kuina, their warmth pressed against him. Kuina's toned arms draped lazily over his chest while Carina curled up on his other side, her breath steady.
Just as Jacob was about to drift into sleep, his Observation Haki flared. A disturbance—movement from the sea to the east. Something… someone was approaching.
His eyes snapped open, body tensing as he prepared to get up, but Kuina tightened her grip around him.
"Relax," she murmured, her voice low but firm. "I'll handle it."
Jacob hesitated. "It could be a remnant of Arlong's crew," he muttered.
Kuina exhaled through her nose, amused. "Even better."
She moved to sit up, but Nami entered the room before she could leave.
"Don't," she said, her voice serious.
Kuina raised a brow. "Excuse me?"
Nami sighed. "I know who it is. It's Hatchan."
Jacob recognized the name. Hatchan—the six-armed fishman swordsman, one of Arlong's cadres.
Kuina tensed slightly. "Then I definitely should be the one to deal with him."
"No." Nami's tone was unyielding. "I'll talk to him."
Jacob and Kuina exchanged a look. Eventually, Kuina sighed and sat back down, letting Nami go.

At the Shore
Under the moonlight, a massive silhouette emerged from the sea, dripping with saltwater. Hatchan, his pink-skinned, octopus-like body, stood on the shore, confused and angry.
His eyes darted around, taking in the destruction.
"Arlong Park…" his voice wavered. His gaze fell on Nami. "What happened?"
Nami's expression hardened, her hands curling into fists. "They're gone. All of them."
Hatchan's tentacle-like fingers twitched. "You… you did this?"
"No," Nami said firmly. "But I won't pretend I'm sad about it."
Hatchan stepped forward, anger creeping into his voice. "Do you have any idea what you've done?! Arlong and the others—"
"They enslaved my village for eight years."
Hatchan flinched.
Nami took a deep breath and raised her hand. Dark clouds began forming above them.
Hatchan's eyes widened. "What—?"
With a crack, a bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, illuminating Nami's face.
"I'm not that weak little girl anymore, Hatchan," she said coldly. "I don't need to explain anything to you. Just leave."
Hatchan stared at her. The sea breeze whistled between them, tension hanging in the air.
Then, after a long silence, his shoulders slumped.
"…I was on vacation," he muttered, almost to himself. "When I came back… everything was gone."
Nami didn't waver. "Then you should leave while you still can."
Hatchan looked at her one last time, then turned away. He walked back into the sea without another word and disappeared beneath the waves.

Watching from Afar
Jacob, Carina, and Kuina stood at the edge of their home, watching Nami return from the shore.
"She let him go," Kuina muttered.
Carina smirked. "That's Nami for you."
Jacob crossed his arms, watching Nami's expression. She looked calm… but conflicted.
"I think she needed that," he said quietly.
Kuina hummed. "Maybe. But if he ever comes back with a grudge…"
Jacob smirked, his fists igniting with blue flames.
"We kill him."
