Yamato punched Satori, Nami punished White Beret

Jacob blasted through the sky at hypersonic speed, carrying Kuina, Carina, and Desire on his back. The wind howled past them, and the clouds blurred into streaks of white as they soared toward the uppermost point of the island—God's Shrine.

Suddenly, Jacob's Observation Haki flared.

"Hold on!" he shouted.

A massive lightning bolt crashed from above, searing the air with blinding brightness. Jacob twisted his body mid-air with a sudden jerk, dodging the strike by inches.

More bolts rained down, splitting the sky apart with deafening thunderclaps. He dodged left, then right, weaving through the storm of destruction.

"This guy isn't playing around," Jacob muttered.

Kuina narrowed her eyes, gripping her sword tightly. "That was an attack, not just some random storm."

"No kidding!" Desire clutched his shoulders tightly, her voice strained. "You could've warned me before pulling those crazy maneuvers!"

Carina, gripping the Sea Stone Jitte Jacob had given her, was tense. "So, this is a Logia user… Physical attacks won't work unless you have Haki or Seastone."

Jacob grinned.

He broke through the storm with one final speed and landed on the floating shrine.

The moment they touched down, the air changed.

Sitting lazily atop a golden throne, legs crossed, was a tall, shirtless man with elongated earlobes. He was bare above the waist, and upon his back was a sizeable gray ring with four drums attached. His grayish-blue eyes flickered with amusement, and a golden staff rested against his shoulder. A Calm, confident smile spread across his face.

Jacob froze.

"No way… This guy looks just like Eminem?"

The man smiled wider, tilting his head. "So… you've come to challenge a god?"

The air crackled with static, the scent of ozone thickening around them.

Jacob clenched his fists, his flames flickering to life.

"I am."

***

Still fuming from Jacob tricking her, Yamato stomped along the Milky Road.

"Tch! That bastard! Leaving me behind while he fights a strong enemy?!" she muttered. "I wanted to punch that lightning guy too!"

She found an unoccupied boat floating through the cloudy pathway as she ran. She jumped into the boat, and it floated through the cloud-like river until it was blocked by a stone gate; there were four gates, each marked with a sign:

The Ordeal of Swamp

The Ordeal of String

The Ordeal of Iron

The Ordeal of Balls

Yamato tilted her head, considering.

"Swamp sounds gross... String sounds annoying... Iron sounds boring… but Balls?" She grinned. "That sounds fun!"

Without hesitation, she entered the path marked "Ordeal of Balls."

The pathway twisted and turned before opening into a large forest with massive trees. Hovering like balloons, dozens of large, white spheres were suspended.

"Hmm? Are these the 'balls'?" Yamato poked one curiously.

It suddenly burst open, releasing a massive explosion before a flock of birds scampered away.

"Oho! A surprise!" Yamato laughed, jumping onto another ball. "This is kinda fun!"

Before she could pop more, a high-pitched, maniacal laugh echoed through the air.

"Hohoho! Welcome to the Ordeal of Balls!"

A round, dark red-haired man with orange sunglasses and a creepy grin flipped into view from the tree branches. He wore a white, full-body jumpsuit, and his stomach jiggled as he floated midair.

"I am Satori, the priest of this ordeal! You poor fool have no idea what you've gotten yourself into! My Surprise Balls contain endless tricks! Explosions! Snakes! Needles! Poiso—"

CRACK!

Satori's words were cut off as Yamato punched him squarely.

The air distorted, and his body rocketed backward, smashing dozens of floating balls before crashing through a tree.

Yamato cracked her knuckles, grinning. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Satori stumbled out from the wreckage, his face swollen and his sunglasses crooked.

"H-Hoho… How unfortunate! You see, the true power of my Surprise Balls is—"

CRASH!

Yamato smashed him again, this time with her kanabo. The impact sent Satori spinning through the sky like a shooting star before disappearing into the distance.

The jungle fell silent.

Yamato stretched her arms, satisfied. "Well, that was fun! But I still wanna punch the lightning guy."

She turned around and ran off again, searching for Jacob.

At the hidden village of the Shandia Tribe, Aisa, a young girl with short brown hair and tiny wings on her back, clutched her head in distress. The strong individuals gathered in Upper Yard overwhelmed her mantra—the ability to sense presence.

Her expression tightened as she sensed a familiar presence vanishing.

"Satori... he's been defeated."

Sitting nearby, Raki, her older cousin with black hair tied into a long and elaborate ponytail, widened her eyes.

"What?! That priest lost?"

Aisa nodded rapidly. "And it's not just that! There are... more powerful people there than usual! A group of them!"

Raki's expression darkened as she stood up. "We need to tell Wyper!"

The two ran through the village, weaving past warriors sharpening their weapons, repairing their dials, and tending to their battle gear.

At the center of the village, Wyper, the fierce leader of the Shandia Warriors, sat near a roaring bonfire, his muscular build and tribal tattoos glowing under the flickering flames. His tall mohawk and piercing eyes gave him an intimidating aura. He was preparing for their next assault on Enel's forces.

Raki and Aisa rushed forward, panting.

"Wyper!" Raki called. "Something big is happening in Upper Yard!"

Wyper narrowed his eyes. "Explain."

Aisa took a deep breath. "Satori is gone. He was defeated by one of the new warriors who arrived! I don't know who they are, but they're strong! Stronger than most of Enel's priests!"

The Shandia warriors, sitting around the bonfire, murmured among themselves. Is a priest being trounced? That was unheard of.

Wyper's fist clenched in anger and determination.

"If new warriors fight against Enel's forces, this is our chance." His voice was filled with fire. "We will not let this opportunity slip away! We will reclaim our homeland!"

He stood up and raised his massive bazooka.

"Prepare for battle! We siege Upper Yard today!"

The Shandia warriors cheered, grabbing their weapons and battle dials as they prepared to storm Upper Yard.

Outside Conis's house, Nami stood with her arms crossed, her expression sour as she manipulated wisps of white cloud, trying to recreate the various cloud types she had seen in Angel Island.

Kaya eagerly took notes as she listened to Pagaya's explanations about Sky Island's culture, paying special attention to medical advancements among the Skypieans.

Meanwhile, Porche, feeling entirely out of place, sat in the corner, sulking with her arms wrapped around her legs. "This is so boring," she mumbled, staring at Nami's floating cloud constructs.

Just then, a squad of men in white uniforms approached, their footsteps synchronized as they surrounded the girls. Their leader, McKinley, a tall man with a white beret, stepped forward and adjusted his cap-like overcoat.

"Visitors of the Blue Sea," he said with a polite yet firm tone. "You have entered Skypiea illegally."

Nami's eyebrow twitched. "Illegally?"

McKinley nodded seriously. "Yes. As per Skypiean law, entry without paying the proper toll is a grave offense. The original fee was 1 billion extols per person, but since you refused to pay, you must now pay 10 times the amount."

He paused for dramatic effect.

"That will be 10 billion extols each."

For a moment, silence hung in the air.

Then—

"10 BILLION?!?!"

Nami's scream of outrage echoed across the beach.

Kaya and Porche flinched while Conis and Pagaya exchanged nervous glances.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Nami waved her hands aggressively. "Ten billion?! You've got to be kidding me! Who the hell has that kind of money?!"

McKinley remained calm. "This is the law."

Nami's face turned red with fury. She still hadn't realized that extols were an entirely different currency than berries—she just heard "billion" and immediately assumed it was some insane robbery.

Porche, still sulking, muttered, "I told you this place was stupid."

On the other hand, Kaya was still too fascinated by Sky Island culture to react appropriately to the situation.

Before McKinley could continue, Nami snapped.

"TO HELL WITH YOUR 10 BILLION!!"

She raised her hands, and the clouds around her rumbled. Instantly, massive puffs of white clouds formed, solidifying before they turned dark. The dark clouds sizzle with thunder, striking uncontrollably. The thunder strikes all the white berets.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

When the White Berets were struck, they fell to the ground, scorched and sizzling.

McKinley, barely able to react, stumbled backward, his beret flying off his head.

Conis and Pagaya gasped in shock.

Pagaya whispered, "T-this power… She controls the thunder…"

Conis's eyes widened as she turned to her father. "Could she be… related to God?"

Nami, panting from rage, turned to the scorched McKinley and growled, "That's what you get for trying to scam me!"

McKinley, now half-burn in the ground, could only groan in response.
