Yamato vs Nola, Gan Fall came

massive laughed wildly as she sprinted through the dense jungle of Upper Yard, her kanabo slung over her shoulder.

"Tch! No strong enemies around?!" she complained, stomping on a thick tree root and launching herself forward. "Skypiea is kinda boring!"

Then—

A massive shadow loomed over her.

The ground trembled as something enormous slithered through the forest, snapping thick trees like twigs.

HISSSSSSSSSSS!

A colossal light blue snake emerged from the undergrowth. Its scales glistened, and its golden eyes locked onto Yamato with a predatory glint. The serpent was so massive that it could have easily coiled around an entire building—no, a whole village.

It lunged at her, jaws wide enough to swallow a house whole.

"Oh?!" Yamato's grin widened. "Finally, something fun!"

She leaped backward, dodging the snake's massive fangs as it chomped and crushed trees.

"Hah! You're pretty big, huh?" She spun her kanabo in her grip, her stance solid. "Let's see how tough you are!"

The python hissed furiously and coiled its massive body, preparing to strike again.

Yamato charged forward.

"RAIMEI HAKKE!!!"

Her kanabo crackled with lightning-infused Haki as she swung it upward, slamming it directly into the python's snout.

BOOM!

The sheer force of her attack sent shockwaves through the jungle, flattening trees and sending birds fleeing into the sky.

The python reeled back, its massive body thrashing wildly in pain.

Then—

GOLD came spilling out of its mouth.

Dozens of golden treasures, statues, and ancient relics rained down, clattering against the forest floor.

Yamato's eyes widened.

"Whoa! This thing was hoarding treasure?!" She grinned. "Looks like I hit the jackpot!"

But the snake wasn't finished.

It coiled up, its gigantic body twisting unnaturally fast, and then lunged again, aiming to wrap around her.

Yamato just laughed.

"Alright, round two! Come at me!!"

Raki marched alongside her fellow Shandia warriors, her grip firm on her rifle as they traveled through the dense jungle of Upper Yard. Their leader, Wyper, walked at the front, his intense gaze locked forward, determined to reclaim their homeland.

The jungle was eerily silent, aside from the rustling of leaves and the occasional distant roar of a beast—no priests in sight—yet.

Then—

SPLURT!

The ground beneath them suddenly softened, becoming a thick, murky swamp. Several warriors lost their footing, their legs sinking into the unexpected swamp.

A figure emerged from the trees.

A tall Birkan man with upward-pointing rasta-style dreadlocks, wearing a matching purple jacket and pants, stood near a gargantuan tree trunk.

"Mmmgh...! You have entered... mmgh... the Ordeal of Swamp...! A fatal mistake!"

His voice was oddly sluggish, as if he wasn't paying full attention.

"Tch, another one of Enel's lapdogs." Wyper's voice was sharp, his patience already worn thin.

"I, Priest Gedatsu, shall eliminate—!"

He suddenly choked mid-sentence.

The Shandia warriors blinked.

"...Did he just forget to breathe?" Raki whispered.

Gedatsu's eyes rolled back as he flopped forward, crashing face-first into his swamp.

Silence.

One of the warriors hesitantly took a step forward. "Uhh… is he—"

Gedatsu suddenly jerked upright, flailing wildly. "MMPH! Ahem! I meant to do that!" He rose back up, composing himself. "A-as I was saying! The Ordeal of Swamp is absolute!"

The swamp grew larger, creeping toward the warriors, trying to swallow them whole.

Wyper narrowed his eyes.

With zero hesitation, he raised his right arm—

And slammed his palm, carrying an impact dial, into Gedatsu's chest.

BOOM!

The Impact Dial was activated.

A violent shockwave blasted out, sending Gedatsu flying backward at insane speed. He crashed through three trees, bounced off a boulder, and finally plunged into his swamp, disappearing completely.

The jungle fell silent again.

"...Did he just one-shot him?" Raki muttered.

Wyper scoffed, looking at the fallen Gedatsu. "Weakling."

The Shandia warriors pressed forward without wasting another second, leaving the defeated priest behind.

The battle between Jacob and Enel continued at blinding speed, blue flames clashing against blue lightning. Each strike rattled the floating Ark Maxim, the sheer intensity of their Logia battle shaking the air around them.

Kuina tried to follow their movements but could barely keep up, even with her sharp eyes. Her observation haki flared suddenly—multiple presences were incoming.

She turned sharply and locked eyes with Carina, who had also sensed them.

"Hey, new girl," Kuina called over to Desire, her voice even and calm. "Get ready."

Desire swallowed nervously. "I—yeah! I got this." She gripped her deck of cards tightly.

A towering, winged bald man wearing tiny sunglasses descended onto the battlefield, carrying a weird-looking blade with a shell attached to the hilt. Beside him, a massive, cute-looking dog covered in pale fur barred its fangs.

Ohm, the Priest of Iron.

"Only those deemed worthy may set foot in the sacred land of God Enel," Ohm declared in a low voice, his steely gaze locking onto Kuina.

Kuina unsheathed Wado Ichimonji in one fluid motion, stepping forward. "You're in my way."

Without another word, she vanished.

A loud clash echoed.

Ohm barely had time to react before Kuina's blade met his iron cloud sword, sending a shockwave. His battle dog lunged at her, but with a single, precise movement, Kuina sidestepped and slashed upward, quickly cutting through its fur.

Ohm's eyes narrowed. "You dare to slash my friend!"

Kuina launched forward with deadly precision again, forcing Ohm onto the defensive.

Meanwhile—

More reinforcements stormed into the battlefield.

A massive, round-bodied commander with ten shell-covered sashes charged forward, leading 50 Divine Soldiers behind him. His booming voice echoed across the battlefield.

"I AM YAMA, COMMANDER OF THE DIVINE ARMY! WHO DARE TO ATTACK ENEL SAMA'S ABODE!"

Hotori and Kotori were flanking him, the twin ball-shaped lieutenants with dial weapons strapped on their sweaty palms.

Carina smirked.

She twirled her jitte and cracked her knuckles. "Guess I'll take the twins and the big guy."

Carine clenched her fists, and a sudden wave of sonic energy exploded outward, throwing Hotori, Kotori, and Yama off balance.

"Argh! What is this noise?!" Hotori clutched his ears, struggling against the deafening vibrations.

Carina twirled her jitte effortlessly and rushed forward, weaving between them with expert footwork.

She ducked under Hotori's attack, spun around Kotori's punch, and delivered a sharp strike against Yama's gut, sending him stumbling back.

Yama growled. "YOU LITTLE—!"

BOOM!

Carina clapped her hands, amplifying the sound into a concussive blast that sent them flying.

She grinned. "Too easy."

On the other side—

Desire was in trouble.

The 50 Divine Soldiers surrounded her, weapons drawn. Sweat dripped down her forehead.

She took a deep breath and flipped a card between her fingers. She took one card; she remembered trapping six wolves while they rested in Long Ring Long Land in this card.

"Card-Card: Wolf Pack!"

The card glowed, and six large, elongated wolves suddenly emerged from thin air, baring their fangs.

The soldiers hesitated.

Desire smirked. "Go."

The wolves charged forward, biting and slashing through the enemy ranks.

But the soldiers were well-trained. They fought back viciously, forcing Desire to dodge, weave, and summon more weapons from her deck.

She gritted her teeth as she blocked a sword strike with a metal shield she summoned, then countered by summoning a flurry of knives; it was just an ordinary knife she collected from her lot and stored inside her card.

Even so, she was being pushed back.

"Damn it… I need more power."

The Battle Rages On—

The battlefield below was chaotic, with Jacob and Enel locked in an intense duel above.

Kuina clashed with Ohm, steel against steel.

Carina dominated Hotori, Kotori, and Yama with her sound waves.

Desire fought desperately against an overwhelming number of highly trained soldiers.

At Pagaya's house, Pagaya and Conis huddled in fear, still shaken by Nami's overwhelming power and ability to summon lightning like Enel. Meanwhile, Porche played with Suu, the small fox-like cloud creature, seemingly unconcerned.

Across the room, Gan Fall, the former God of Skypiea, sat on a wooden chair, arms crossed, gazing at Nami and Kaya. His armor clinked softly as he shifted his weight.

"The war you see today has not just started a few years ago; it has started way further than that," he began, his voice heavy with regret. "This land has been in conflict for over four hundred years."

Kaya leaned forward, notebook in hand, scribbling down every word. Her eyes were curious.

Gan Fall continued, "The Shandians were the original inhabitants of Upper Yard, but when part of their homeland was blasted into the sky by the Knock-Up Stream, they found themselves trapped in a foreign world."

Nami furrowed her brow. "So the Skypieans stole it from them?"

Gan Fall sighed. "It wasn't that simple. When the land appeared, the Skypieans saw it as a gift from God and claimed it as holy land. The Shandians, understandably, saw them as invaders. This led to centuries of war, and neither side was willing to give up what they believed was rightfully theirs."

Kaya nodded, writing rapidly. "And you tried to stop it?"

Gan Fall's expression darkened. "I did. I spent years trying to bring peace between our people. For a time, things seemed to be improving."

His fist clenched.

"But then… Enel came."

The room fell silent. Even Porche stopped playing with Suu and looked over.

Gan Fall's gaze hardened.

"Six years ago, Enel arrived with his followers from Birka, an island in the White Sea. He was powerful—too powerful. With his lightning, he wiped out those who opposed him, took the title of God, and claimed Upper Yard as his own."

Nami crossed her arms, scowling. "So he just showed up and took over everything?"

Gan Fall nodded. "Yes. The Skypieans lost our Vearth garden, and the Shandians lost their chance at reclaiming their land. Now, both sides suffer under his rule."

Kaya frowned. "And you? What happened to you?"

Gan Fall exhaled heavily. "I was defeated. Cast out. Since then, I have tried to protect the innocent where possible. Enel's power is absolute."

Nami was silent for a moment. Then, she smirked. "Well, not for long."

Gan Fall raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Nami flicked her fingers, and a dark cloud producing small lightning danced between them. "We have someone who can handle Enel."

Gan Fall's eyes widened in shock. "Who?"

Kaya smiled. "Jacob."

Nami smirked. "The God of Fire."

Pagaya and Conis looked at each other nervously.

Porche suddenly said, "Okay, but when do we get to fight? This history lesson is so boring."

Gan Fall chuckled, his tension easing slightly. "You all are interesting children."
