Days had passed in the blink of an eye, and before Gigi knew it, a week had already gone by since she was shoved into this world.
Over the past several days, even though everyone was aware of Gigi's memory loss, many couldn't help but whisper about her. For them, it was unclear whether their young miss was simply acting strangely due to the memory loss or if something else was at play.
After all, Gigi had been behaving very differently. At first, it seemed reasonable, but the more they observed her, the more they realized the stark contrast between the Gigi they once knew and the one before them now. Still, many reasoned that her memory loss was the cause of these changes.

In the mansion's garden, Aqua and her lover sat at a table surrounded by beautiful flowers.
"Aqua, are you alright?" Troy asked, looking at her worriedly. "Did Gigi pick on you again?"
Aqua's pale pink lips pressed into a thin line, and she shook her head. "Troy, I told you, I'm fine. Gigi isn't mad at me anymore."
"Aqua." Troy sighed, reaching out to hold her hand. "I know you've always been grateful to the Valentine family. But that doesn't mean you should keep letting her bully you. Why don't you just move out? I can help you get into the university dorm. Don't worry about the cost."
"Troy." A look of appreciation swirled in Aqua's eyes as she smiled meekly. "I appreciate your offer, but I can't. We've already talked about this."
"But—"
"Gigi isn't picking on me anymore," she reassured him, though a hint of confusion flickered in her eyes. "After the incident, she… she said I'm her sister."
A faint smile tugged at her lips as she met Troy's gaze. "And she's been really nice to me since then. Did I tell you she was the one who dropped the charges?"
"Well, isn't she the one who pressed charges in the first place?"
"It wasn't her," Aqua huffed in defeat. "Don't you believe me anymore? I'm fine. The Valentine family has taken care of me since I was orphaned. It hasn't always been easy, but I'm hopeful this change will last. Gigi is finally opening her heart to me, and I don't want to upset her by moving out now."
Troy looked at Aqua with mixed emotions. His mouth parted, ready to argue, but he stopped himself. Aqua was kind—too kind. She always downplayed things, especially when it came to her rocky relationship with Gigi.
"If you say so," he relented with a sigh. "But remember, my offer still stands. I can take care of you."
Aqua smiled softly but didn't respond.
Little did they know that someone was watching them from the second floor of the mansion.

Gigi stood at the library window, arms crossed, her gaze locked on the couple below. Tapping her forefinger against her arm, she narrowed her eyes.
'In the original storyline, Aqua and Troy were high school sweethearts. Their romance carried into their university years. So, I'm not surprised he can come and go freely in this place,' she thought. 'But somewhere along the line, I—Genevieve Valentine—end up stealing Troy from her. If I remember correctly, I seduced him and started an affair behind Aqua's back.'
Her expression twisted as her focus shifted to Troy. He's not bad-looking, but compared to Sevan Oceanus, the gap is too vast to even start comparing.
'Still, I have no interest in seducing anyone or making myself the villain in this story.' Gigi frowned, lost in thought. 'Even so, if I don't interfere, Aqua and Troy might stay together. And then what happens to the four male leads? '
Slowly, she lifted her gaze, contemplating the possible outcomes if Aqua ended up with Troy. Her expression darkened. It won't end well for Troy or Aqua.
Her goal was simple: ensure the story followed its natural course—with a few tweaks—so that she wouldn't die. If her theory was correct, she might be able to return to her world once the storyline reached its intended conclusion, with Aqua choosing her endgame partner. If not, then at least she could live a carefree life as Genevieve Valentine.
"And for that to happen…" she whispered, setting her sights back on Troy. "He needs to be out of the picture."
A smirk played at her lips, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Young Miss?"
Bubbles' voice came from the side. She peeked over Gigi's shoulder, catching the ominous look on her young miss's face. Edging closer, she whispered, "Young Miss, you look very evil right now."
Gigi chuckled and turned to face her. "Well, maybe because I have evil plans."
"I knew it!" Bubbles gasped. "Young Miss, are you finally going to teach Aqua a lesson after what she did to you?"
"No," Gigi smirked as she uncrossed her arms. "Something else. Anyway, let's go."
With that, she spun on her heel and strode off.
"Young Miss… where are we going?" Bubbles asked, hurrying to keep up.
As Gigi walked, she glanced over her shoulder. "Did you forget? I have a follow-up check-up with Doctor Sevan. We're stopping by before heading to the university to pick up my things from the dorm."

One hour later…
"Take care." Aqua stood by the mansion gates, waving at Troy in the driver's seat.
Troy hesitated. "I'll pick you up tomorrow."
"Mhm." She hummed, smiling. "I'll see you then."
Troy sighed heavily before reluctantly driving away. He wished he could spend more time with her, but he knew she had other things to do. Aqua, meanwhile, maintained her gentle smile as she watched his car disappear into the distance.
After a moment, she turned to head back inside. But just as she did, she caught sight of an elderly woman from the corner of her eye.
"Hmm?" Her brows furrowed as she noticed something off about the old lady. The grandma wobbled slightly, leaning on a cane, her arms weighed down by several bags.
Aqua hesitated for only a second before rushing over—just in time to catch the old woman as she collapsed.
"Ma'am, are you okay?!"
The elderly lady weakly lifted her head, her breath labored. Her eyes fluttered, struggling to focus. "My grand… daughter… where—"
Before she could finish, her body went limp.
Aqua's heart pounded as she panicked. "Ma'am?! Ma'am!"
