Kaito: Well hasn't it been a long time...….The Infamous Genius.

Ryuzen: You can stop with the flattery Mr. Kaito. I want all the information you have, especially about the teleporter. ^ there is no such thing as magic^

Kaito: Looks like you haven't changed a bit Dr. Ryuzen, let's have this conversation somewhere else.

*This huge facility, all these people or as they say "scientists"…..How useful will they prove to be in this new world?

Ryuzen: So this is where the remnants of my department currently exist…..pathetic.

Renji: Well don't be so cold Ryu, (tone intensifies) we need you as calm as possible, take a seat.

Renji: This is Ms.Sujim—[got cut off]

Ayane: Allow me to introduce myself, I am Ayane Sujimoto, The current head of the department that you left. I have heard a lot about you albeit mostly negative...looking forward to working with you.

Ryuzen: Not interested. Not required…..I don't work WITH anyone, also why waste time with such futile things.

Ayane: I was waiting to see your complex in action, guess you are a piece of work...…getting to the point. I will start by reporting everything that we currently know about the situation,

We are no more on Earth, most of our satellites fell but final footage suggests the planet we now stand on is somewhere between 40-100 times larger than Earth yet we don't experience much difference in gravity and we have no idea why. Although the terrain has drastically changed the relative positions of our places seem to be the same.

Ryuzen: Are you sure we are even a planet?

Ayane: We are currently checking into the credibility of our scientific laws and working to get the comms back at least within the International Council. Now The more pressing matter: We are no longer the only intelligent life on this planet i.e. there are new and mostly more advanced....mythical/fictional creatures roaming around. The confirmed list includes Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Dragonewts, Druids and Beastmen. The advancement of elves and dwarves is astronomically large in some fields although they don't have internet or smartphones. The Teleporter was Elvan technology Dr.knowseverything sorry Dr. Ryuzen.

Ryuzen: I will have to see these…things for myself before I believe it.

Ayane: Sure we will arrange that.

And last but not least there are several types of new energies, most notably MANA, we don't know what to call it or how to detect/measure it and it seems like magic, which is what was used to power the teleporter, since we cant channel mana Dr. Ryuzen had to draw a 'Sacred Circle' as they call it, to cultivate mana from the environment and a big ass chant to correctly channel it.

Kaito: Soo…what do you make of it Dr. Ryuzen?

Ryuzen: huh

Renji: ^there it is, he goes huh whenever he feels a sense of understanding and that's a relief^

Ryuzen: Here's the hypothesis, since I know you were able to measure anomalies prior to the actual event I'd say it wasn't something that was done by divine intervention but it isn't natural either. The process was not spontaneous but took time, could be that one of the species of these infinite dimensions messed with space-time the wrong way. This can also be valid observation for my book on higher dimensions and these could potentially be parallel worlds proving the theory of a multiverse.

Ayane: Umm Dr. Ryuzen, did you forget to bring back your brain from retirement? That was the most vague and useless explanation ever.

Ryuzen: Ayane-chan…..Don't get cocky.

Ryuzen: (his eyes narrow as he leans forward) Listen carefully. What happened was not just a shift. It was a merging of different universes—parallel worlds that existed in separate dimensions, now compressed into one. Think of it as a supertask, but instead of time, it's space. Infinite spaces collapsed into this singular existence.

Kaito: what does that mean….? What do we do now…?

Ayane: (glares, jaw clenching)

Ryuzen: Researching higher-dimensional theory without the necessary tools is a waste of time. Our priority is survival. If we are no longer the apex species, we need to ensure we aren't oppressed… or worse, hunted to extinction. The fact that you acquired Elven technology so quickly means they are just as confused as we are. That means we still have time to act.

Ayane: Dr. Ryuzen ple—[cut off retaliation again]
