Stacy's Pov 

 Although I could understand things from old man Morris's explanation and I was happy to be offered a job there I still have some prejudice about the whole thing. 

I stepped out of the car as soon as Richard dropped his words because I didn't want to open up to respond as it seems like we get to fight everytime we respond to each other…

But Richard wasn't going to have it that way, and he came to me saying "don't expect a special treatment though". 

I got ticked off with the statement and responded to him "Do you think I'm the kinda person that can't backup my work with ability?" I roared at him angrily 

He did his smirk that gets on my nerves all the time and said "Well you have to prove it not just saying it with your mouth". 

I was about to walk out from him when the house help informed me that dinner was ready, knowing I haven't eaten much all day,I had to stay behind for dinner despite the fact that I don't want to stay in the same space with Richard at the moment…

I sat and ate and I could feel a gaze on me, I don't know if it was from Richard or from the house helps that were standing around but I couldn't raise my head for fear that I could meet Richard's eyes…. 

I ate as quickly as I could and ran back to my room to avoid any further involvement with Richard, I'd rather prove it to him with the effectiveness of my work….

Richard's POV 

I don't know why I find it so pleasing to tease her and the fact that she falls for it all the time is so amusing. I wonder if she is that dumb or if her IQ is just low…

All the while she was eating, I kept staring at her and I must say she looked so mesmerizing and I could even smell the fragrance of her body even at a distance….

Damn! Am I getting so addicted to the fragrance of her body? I thought it would be the same with the other girls I've had and even the ones that flock me all the time.

But she looks like someone I want to protect and I wasn't even worried about her work because I already know how her designs were looking, and I'm definitely not going to let Ted Owen take her from me! 

That douchebag doesn't even have real skills, the only thing he had to his name is his face and body that deceives women to think he is a man in business when all he does is hide behind his elder brother….

I really don't want to put Stacy on a spot but she is just too adamant for her own good and I just can't stand someone going against me…

Third person's pov

Although they both won't accept the truth about their feelings, they all know very well where they stood in each other's lives.

Richard went to his room and had a shower, after coming out of the shower he got a call from Joseph telling him that one of their people in the underworld told him that his uncle is actively looking to hire a trained killer to take down Richard Morris…

Richard hearing this wasn't surprised because that wasn't the first attempt on his life but remembered he couldn't be careless because he has Stacy to protect now and he would rather not have any loose ends…

He called David to reinforce the double security for Stacy's sake and every little detail of her movement must be monitored and they should act on any abnormality…

Meanwhile, On the other hand Stacy was seated on the bed in her room after taking her bath, trying to respond to the email from the Pearson's group Hr department to reject the offer.

She felt it would be a let down to Ted who has been nice to her from the beginning of the interview but she was also betrayed because she never expected that much of a betrayal from Ted especially…

Why does he have to go to the extreme of trying to use her to get the trade secrets of Morrison Inc. if only they knew how the relationship was between them….

In the uptown area of Luxe City, Margareta met with a slutty rich man in a bar and they were discussing her giving girls to him in exchange for movie roles and money…

Suddenly the man asked about Stacy "Miss Williams I know you had a very sexy daughter even though you never really made it known to the outside world, we your day one fans know that. Why not give her to me and I'd supply you a lifetime of resources". He said

Margareta responded with a seemingly sad expression. If only you had made this request a month ago, I would have made it happen, but now she is married to Richard Morris and you know that no one in the city dares to mess with him….

Anyways you don't need to worry yourself I've got a fresh Virgin to give to you and you can go any limit you want with her.

Margareta sat back down thinking that she shouldn't have accepted to go through with Stacy's marriage that early because she is on the loosing point now...

She felt she lost so much where she could have used her daughter to gain more wealth before giving her out. Her thoughts initially was that she has a lot more to gain from the Morris family because of their connection in Luxe city and beyond as well as the wealth and honor that comes with been acquainted to them...

But she lost it when they decided not to publicize whom Richard's wife is, to protect her private life from being peered into every day by the paparazzi and even the enemies of Morrison inc.
