The gym fell silent as the doors creaked open. Heads turned, and almost immediately, a deafening cheer erupted from the audience.
"KYAAAAA! IT'S OIKAWA-SENPAI!"
"OIKAWA-KUN! YOU'RE BACK!"
The girls in the audience practically screamed as Oikawa entered, a confident grin plastered on his face as he casually waved in response.
"Oh, Oikawa, you're here." Aoba Johsai's coach turned towards him. "How's your injury?"
Oikawa simply shrugged. "It was just a strain. I can play now."
His coach gave him a skeptical look before sighing. "Take care of yourself. We still have a long way to go."
Tanaka, watching the commotion, gritted his teeth in frustration. "Tch! Who the hell is this guy?!"
Kageyama, still staring at his former captain, answered flatly, "That's Oikawa. He's their captain, an aggressive setter, and probably their best player."
Tsukishima smirked. "Oho? Kageyama, are you scared?" he teased, nudging him with his elbow.
"Shut up, I'm not!" Kageyama snapped, but his clenched fists said otherwise.
Meanwhile, Hinata silently brought up his system panel.
[Name - Tooru Oikawa]

Hinata's brows raised slightly. As expected of someone who had given Kageyama trouble in the past. But still…
'I'm stronger.'
Oikawa turned towards the Karasuno team and immediately found Kageyama in the crowd. "Yo, Tobio-chan!" he greeted, smirking. "Still alive?"
Kageyama scowled. "Don't call me that!"
Oikawa laughed before turning his gaze towards Hinata. His expression shifted slightly, his smirk faltering for a split second as he observed the shorter player.
"Huh… interesting."
The Aoba Johsai coach clapped his hands, bringing their focus back. "Oikawa, warm up first before stepping onto the court."
"Got it, Coach." Oikawa began stretching, his presence alone boosting the morale of his teammates.
Karasuno, however, remained unfazed.
"Hey, Daichi-san," Hinata suddenly spoke up, stretching his arms. "Let me serve first."
"Huh?" Daichi blinked. "You want to serve?"
Tanaka smirked and patted Hinata's shoulder. "Alright, kid, show them what you got!" Then, with a sudden shift, he turned towards Aoba Johsai's side and mockingly made the sign of a cross. "Rest in peace, Oikawa."
A chill ran down the spines of every Aoba Johsai player except Oikawa, who simply tilted his head in curiosity.
"Why are they so confident in his serve?" he muttered.
Iwazumi crossed his arms. "I don't know, but be careful."
The referee blew the whistle.
Hinata exhaled, bouncing the ball a few times before tossing it into the air.
And then—
BOOM!
[Serve: Cannon Shot]
Like a missile, the ball shot across the court, past Oikawa before he could even react. His eyes widened as the ball struck the floor with an ear-shattering smack.
Pin-drop silence.
The gym stood frozen, even the Karasuno players staring in awe despite having seen it before.
"Tch. Monster…" Kageyama muttered under his breath, gripping his jersey.
"Service ace!" the referee finally announced, breaking the silence.
The audience erupted into chaos.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
"Did he just—did he just SERVE PAST OIKAWA?!"
"Even Oikawa couldn't react to it…"
Oikawa himself remained frozen, his mind struggling to comprehend what just happened.
'No way… That wasn't just a strong serve. That was something else entirely.'
But Hinata wasn't done.
The whistle blew again, and once more—
BOOM!
Another Cannon Shot, another service ace.
Then another.
Then another.
Karasuno 7 - 0 Aoba Johsai.
The pressure on Aoba Johsai was suffocating. It felt like gravity itself had increased, pinning them down to the ground, preventing them from reacting.
"It's impossible…"
"How do we even fight this?!"
"We're getting crushed by one guy!"
Even their libero, Watari, was struggling. He barely managed to get his hands on the ball, but every time he did, it deflected out of bounds.
Oikawa clenched his fists. He wasn't just determined anymore—he was desperate.
'I won't let my team be humiliated like this!'
He gritted his teeth, forcing himself to calm down. He took a deep breath, focusing all of his instincts. The next serve came—
BOOM!
But this time, Oikawa's instincts kicked in, and he moved. His arms extended, body adjusting in mere milliseconds.
The ball struck his forearms harshly, sending a painful jolt through his body. It wasn't a clean receive—it wasn't even a decent one. But by sheer luck, the ball deflected upward instead of out of bounds.
"Yahaba!" Oikawa called.
"On it!" Yahaba rushed in, setting the ball towards Iwaizumi.
Iwaizumi's eyes burned with determination. "TAKE THIS!"
He spiked the ball with everything he had.
Tsukishima and Tanaka jumped to block, but the ball deflected off Tsukishima's fingertips, reducing its momentum.
Daichi reacted instantly, diving to keep the ball in play. "Kageyama!"
Kageyama set up for a pass—
"KAGEYAMA!"
Hinata's voice rang through the gym. Kageyama looked over. Hinata was positioned at the back. Was he going for a back attack? They'd never done this before.
'Tch… I'll trust you.'
Kageyama sent the ball higher, giving it more airtime.
Hinata took a few steps back, then sprinted forward.
He jumped.
And soared.
"Wha—?!" Oikawa's eyes widened. "That shorty reached the net from THERE?!"
[Spike: On the Line]
With pinpoint accuracy and devastating power, Hinata sent the ball straight onto the sideline.
The libero barely moved before the ball had already hit the ground.
Game.
Silence.
Then, chaos.
The audience lost their minds.
"THAT WAS INSANE!"
"HE JUMPED FROM THE BACK LINE!"
"THAT LINE ATTACK! WHAT A MONSTER!"
The Karasuno team grinned as they watched their opponents stand there, utterly dumbfounded.
