chapter three

The moment the teacher left the class Kaia and Indigo ran toward the door alongside Julian

I just sat there in despair not knowing what to do. I finally went out of the class Julian and the girls

were gathered around Eva and they looked really furious, they all turned to look at me as I

approached them

"you think you can just ignore me" she spat her voice venomous" You really thought that you could

move on without me" she yelled

"I'm going to ask you just once what in the world are you doing here," I said and Indigo pushed her

against the wall, she was seething

"as far as you're schooling her STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM US or?" Kaia said

"what are you going to do about it thanes mine" Eva chipped in cutting her off"

"I'm not yours anymore, stay away from me and my friends otherwise I'm going to hurt you really bad

and no one gonna save you" I said

She tried to fight Indigo and Kaia so she could get closer to me but Kaia punched her and threw her

across the hallway

"hey listen, I don't like having to do all this" Julian said walking towards her, he bent downwards to

where she was on the floor

"But you have to stay away from all of us, it'll only get bad so I'd implore you to stay very far away from

us, do not come close to Thane Eva you don't deserve him" he said and walked away

"Thanks, guys," I said to them when we got back to our class

Kaia's eyes narrowed before saying" No worries we got your back"

It was all eerily quiet before Indigo broke the silence

"I'm starving; who up for lunch." the rest of the day went pretty great except for the drama at

school

AURORA

Mum wasn't home so I was by myself and I had to do everything all by myself and that included taking

of the house too, I got dressed and headed for school. The hallway was very quiet and I found that

weird I dropped my back in my locker picked up my books and went into my class and I was quite late

because mum wasn't around to baby me and make me breakfast and stuff. I miss her desperately

I sighed and walked to my seat and Indigo waved at me

"Good morning," she said and I replied to her with a smile, thane raised his head for a brief moment

before putting it back on the desk

OH! That startled me

Miss Piper walked into the class with her spectacular huge book I genuinely loved her classes she

taught HISTORY, MYTHOLOGY, AND FOLKLORE and it was very fascinating today she taught us

about FAE and it got me in a choke-hold because they were very rare

"We have come to the end of today's class and I'll be giving you an assignment," she said, and everyone

murmured

"you are going to be in a group of five and talk about your BEING, attributes power and history, good

day" she said and left

Everyone scrambled around to form a group, naturally Julian, I, and the girls formed a group, and we

needed one more person

"hey thane wanna join our group" Kaia said whilst tapping him to wake up

"SHEESH! Always sleeping" Indigo said and screamed in his ears "WAKE UP"

"OH! Come on," he said raising his head "What's going on" he inquired

"well we got an assignment and were asking if you wanna join our group, "Kaia said and he said he

was down

"cool, so you're the leader," she said pointing at me

"why me " I said looking at her

" hello girl, look around do any of us look responsible to you," indie asked

" well thane looks responsible," I said and hid my face in my palm

"oh hell no he's the last person in this world I'd call responsible," Julian said and everyone started

laughing and I looked towards him, his laugh was like a rare precious gem, unexpected yet

breathtakingly beautiful .it started as a low rumbling chuckle deep within his chest before bursting

forth in a warm rich sound that filled the air. His eyes normally piercing and intense wrinkled at the

corners as his lips curved upward revealing a hint of mischief

The serious brooding expression that usually dominates his face was replaced by a joyful glow was honestly happy to see him laugh he looked so beautiful even if he was a guy

"so we have to analyze our being,yall should fill in yours, and I'll do the compilation," I said, and Indigo

pinched my cheek

"OH! Hell no it is supposed to be group work," she said

"and well do it together, "Kaia said and smiled at me

"so since the assignment is due next week we can do it at thanes over them if that's okay with you Rory

" Julian said

" yh im good with it"

" oh that's great then, "Indigo said and hugged me

She smelled great and she was a fluffy and clingy person and that personality was so cute

Just as we were discussing the classroom door swung open and a girl with long curly dark hair strode

into the class, her hair bouncing with each stride she had a band-aid at the top left corner of her

head, her piercing green eyes scanned the room, walked up to us, and looked straight at me with an

air of superiority before walking towards Thane her eyes never leaving her face

"look what we have here," she said her tone dripping with disdain, I was confused as to why she was

looking at me like that when I don't even know her

"Eva I told you to stay away, "Thane said his eyes cold

"oh my darling," she said

"what in the world Eva get out of here, "Indigo said and face palmed while I watched as the drama

unfolded right before my eyes

THANE

"the ugly girl thinks she can just waltz and steal thanes attention" Her eyes rake over auroras face

twisting into a scowl

"Eva I'm warning you, "I said again as auroras eyes met Evas a calm steady look that seemed to infuriate

Eva further as she got on auroras desk

" hey get down from there and stop embarrassing yourself, "Kaia said

" you think you're so special huh! you really think you can take Thane away from me" she sneered but

auroras expression remained calm she looked lost and annoyed

Eva's behaviour was unacceptable I grabbed her and dragged her out of the class

The encounter left the classroom in an uncomfortable silence all eyes were on Aurora and evaHer behavior was clearly trouble and it seemed that she wasn't going to let it go
