chapters 11 : A New dawn in the kingdoms of valtheria

The morning sun bathed the grand city of Valtheria in golden light as Reo, Lucia, and Celestia stepped through the towering gates. The air buzzed with energy—merchants calling out deals, adventurers swapping tales of grand quests, and guild recruiters seeking new talent. This kingdom was known for its strongest guilds, legendary warriors, and vast dungeons.

Reo adjusted the cloak draped over his shoulders, a casual smirk playing on his lips. "So, this is where my parents used to adventure, huh?"

Lucia, walking beside him, glanced around in awe. "It's huge… And the people here look so strong."

Celestia, disguised in her human form with long silver hair and mesmerizing golden eyes, walked slightly ahead of them. "This city is built upon ancient ruins, remnants of a time when gods and mortals coexisted. Many seek power here, but few truly understand the weight of what they chase."

Reo chuckled. "Sounds like the perfect place for us."

The Guild Registration

Their first stop was The Silver Fang Adventurer's Guild, a massive fortress-like structure. Inside, the place was packed with adventurers, some laughing over drinks, others checking quests on the bulletin board.

A tall, muscular guild receptionist eyed them. "Newcomers?"

Reo placed his hand on the counter. "Yeah. We'd like to register."

The receptionist handed them magical registration orbs. "Place your hand on this. It will analyze your strength, mana, and abilities to determine your rank."

Lucia went first. Her orb shined bright blue.

"Hmm… Not bad. With your mana levels and skills, I'd place you at C-rank."

Next, Reo placed his hand on the orb. The moment he did, the orb exploded in a burst of golden light, sending shockwaves through the guild. The room fell silent.

The receptionist's eyes widened. "W-What the hell? This reading… You're off the charts! There's no way a new adventurer should have such high stats."

Whispers spread through the guild.

"Who is this guy?"

"Did you see that light?"

"Is he a noble or something?"

Reo rubbed the back of his neck. Oops. Guess I overdid it.

The guild master, an older warrior with grizzled scars and piercing gray eyes, walked over. "Name?"

"Reo."

The guild master narrowed his eyes. "Your strength is beyond what a normal adventurer should have. I'll approve your registration, but I'm giving you an A-rank immediately."

Lucia gasped. "Wait, what?! A-rank right away?"

Reo simply grinned.

The guild master continued. "But you'll need to prove yourself. Take an urgent B-rank quest—a dungeon raid. If you can complete it without issue, you'll earn full A-rank privileges."

Reo crossed his arms. "Fine. I was looking for a challenge anyway."

Dungeon Raid – The Twisted Cavern

Hours later, Reo and Lucia stood before a massive cavern entrance deep within the forest. The quest had seemed straightforward—clear out the dungeon and eliminate any high-threat monsters.

Lucia drew her sword. "Something feels… off."

Reo's appraisal ability activated automatically. His eyes glowed for a moment as information flooded his mind.

"Damn it. This dungeon isn't a B-rank at all."

Lucia paled. "What do you mean?"

He clenched his fists. "There's an A-rank monster inside. Someone in the guild either miscalculated or set us up."

A chilling roar echoed from within.

Lucia swallowed hard. "We should retreat and report this."

Reo smirked. "Nah. Let's kill it."

She gawked at him. "Are you insane?!"

"I've been waiting for a real challenge." He cracked his knuckles. "Let's go."

They entered the dark cavern, torches casting eerie shadows on the stone walls. The deeper they went, the more oppressive the atmosphere became. The stench of blood and decay filled the air.

And then they saw it.

A massive, six-eyed beast loomed in the darkness, claws dripping with venom, its body covered in obsidian scales. Around it lay the remains of previous adventurers.

Lucia tensed. "That's a Shadow Devourer! A creature that absorbs mana and can paralyze its prey with a single strike."

Reo cracked his neck. "Perfect."

The Battle – Unleashing True Power

The Shadow Devourer lunged at them, its claws swiping through the air like black lightning. Reo dodged effortlessly, his speed far beyond human limits.

Lucia attacked first, slashing at its legs, but the beast barely flinched.

"Damn it, its defense is too high!" she shouted.

Reo raised his hand, summoning a shadow spear. With a flick of his wrist, he hurled it, piercing through the beast's shoulder.

The creature howled, its body convulsing.

Lucia's eyes widened. "You didn't tell me you could use shadow magic!"

Reo grinned. "I have a lot of tricks."

The beast lunged again, its jaws snapping at him.

"Too slow."

Reo vanished and reappeared behind it, slamming a mana-infused fist into its spine.

BOOM! The monster crashed into the cavern wall, cracks forming in the stone.

It let out a final roar before collapsing.

Lucia exhaled, placing a hand on her chest. "That… was insane."

Reo smirked. "Told you it'd be fun."

The Aftermath – Goddess Summoned

After reporting their success to the guild, Reo became an official A-rank adventurer. Cheers filled the guildhall, and Lucia beamed with pride.

That night, they celebrated at an inn in Valtheria, a cozy, candle-lit room filled with warmth.

Lucia leaned against Reo. "You're crazy, you know that?"

Reo chuckled. "You love it."

She blushed but didn't deny it.

Then—something unexpected happened.

A golden light filled the room, and Celestia's voice echoed in Reo's mind.

"It's time, my beloved. You're ready to summon me fully into this world."

The room shook violently, and a magic circle formed beneath them.

Lucia jumped up. "Reo… what's happening?!"

He smirked. "Just wait."

The magic circle burst with divine energy, and a figure materialized before them—Celestia, now fully human, standing in all her divine beauty.

Lucia gasped. "T-That's…?!"

Celestia smiled warmly, stepping toward Reo. "I have waited long enough." She placed a hand on his chest, her golden eyes filled with affection. "From this moment on, I will stay by your side."

Lucia clenched her fists. "Wait, wait, wait! You're saying you're staying… forever?!"

Celestia giggled. "Yes. And as my beloved, Reo must take responsibility."

Reo blinked. "Responsibility…?"

Celestia wrapped her arms around him, pressing her body against his. "I am your goddess, your summon… and your wife."

Lucia's face turned bright red. "W-Wife?!"

Celestia smirked. "My dear Reo, shall we consummate our bond?"

Lucia grabbed a pillow and threw it at Reo. "You bastard! You were planning this, weren't you?!"

Reo dodged, laughing. "Hey, I didn't know this would happen!"

Celestia leaned closer. "Shall we start now?"

Lucia covered her face. "I-I can't believe this…"

Reo sighed. This is gonna be a wild journey…
