Chapter 31: Arrival at the Dragon Continent
The ocean stretched endlessly before them, shimmering under the golden light of the setting sun. Reo stood at the bow of the ship, his arms crossed, his sharp eyes locked onto the distant landmass ahead—the Dragon Continent. This was the land where warriors, kings, and legends were born, a continent ruled by beasts of unimaginable power and ancient mysteries.
Beside him, Lucia leaned on the railing, staring in awe at the massive continent that seemed to radiate power itself. Her silver hair danced in the wind as she tightened her grip on the wooden railing.
"I can feel it…" she whispered. "The air is thick with mana."
Reo nodded. Even for him, the sheer density of magic energy in this place was overwhelming. It was far beyond anything they had encountered before, stronger than the dungeons they raided, stronger than even the capital city's magic-infused atmosphere.
A soft chuckle came from behind them.
"This place hasn't changed much," Celestia mused, her golden eyes gleaming with nostalgia. Her divine presence seemed to hum in tune with the very air around them.
Reo raised an eyebrow. "You've been here before?"
Celestia smiled mysteriously. "Let's just say… this place has a long history with me."
Before Reo could ask anything further, a loud horn echoed from the coastline. Their ship was approaching the docks, where a grand force awaited them.
Rows of soldiers in black and red armor stood in formation, their long spears glistening under the sun. A man with a scarred face and a long crimson cape stepped forward, his golden eyes staring straight at them.
"Welcome to the Dragon Continent," he called out. His voice carried a weight of authority. "His Majesty has been expecting you."
Lucia tensed. "Expecting us? But we never announced our arrival…"
Celestia's smile widened.
Reo sighed. "This just got more complicated."
