Chapter 33: The Dragon King's Journey Begins

The sun rose over the Dragon Continent, casting golden light across the massive floating islands and endless, mist-covered valleys. The land pulsed with ancient magic, filled with powerful creatures and undiscovered ruins of civilizations long lost.

Reo stood at the peak of the Draconic Throne, the sacred palace of the Dragon Kings, alongside Lucia and Celestia. Behind him, the mighty black thunder dragon, Raigarth, hovered in the sky, his massive wings causing storms with every flap.

The entire Dragon Empire had gathered before him—thousands of armored dragon warriors, noble draconic beasts, and even the king of the continent, Emperor Dragothan.

Reo still couldn't believe it.

He was now a Dragon King.

The Ceremony of the Dragon King

"Reo Kisaragi," Emperor Dragothan's deep voice echoed through the mountains. "You have proven your strength by defeating the Guardian Dragon, Raigarth. As the first human to ever achieve such a feat, you have earned a place among us. From this day forth, you shall be recognized as a Dragon King."

The crowd of dragons and warriors roared, the sound shaking the entire land.

Reo stood proudly, but he wasn't alone. Lucia and Celestia stood beside him, their presences radiating power.

Lucia smirked. "So, you're a Dragon King now. Does that mean you get to boss around dragons?"

Celestia smiled softly. "More than that. This title grants him command over the dragons… and access to ancient draconic knowledge."

Reo glanced at Dragothan. "So, what now?"

Dragothan's golden eyes gleamed. "Now, you must embark on a journey. The Trial of the Three Kings awaits you."

Reo raised an eyebrow. "Another trial?"

Dragothan nodded. "There are three legendary dragon kings—each ruling over different domains of this continent. To truly claim your place as a Dragon King, you must defeat or gain the recognition of all three."

Lucia crossed her arms. "So we have to fight three more legendary dragons? Sounds like fun."

Celestia's expression turned serious. "These are not ordinary dragons. Each one wields power equal to a god."

Reo smirked. "Then I guess this is where the real challenge begins."

The Journey Begins – First Stop: The Dragon Ruins

Reo, now wearing a regal cloak made of dragon scales, mounted Raigarth's back. Lucia and Celestia stood beside him, their eyes burning with anticipation.

"Where are we headed first?" Reo asked.

Dragothan pointed toward the horizon. "To the Ruins of Ormrith. The first Dragon King—Vhalgron, the Eternal Flame—resides there. But beware… He is the oldest of us, and his flames are said to be unquenchable."

With a nod, Reo turned to his companions. "Let's go."

Raigarth roared, lightning crackling from his body as he soared into the sky. Lucia and Celestia followed, their auras shining bright as they sped toward their first true challenge.

The Ancient Ruins – A Test of Fire

The Ruins of Ormrith were an abandoned kingdom, half-buried in molten lava and volcanic ash. The air burned, the ground cracked with heat, and the sky glowed red, as if the world itself was on fire.

As Reo and the others landed, a deep growl echoed through the ruins.

BOOM!

A massive dragon claw struck the ground before them, sending a shockwave that cracked the very earth.

From the flames, a colossal red dragon emerged—his scales glowed like molten rock, and his golden eyes burned with an eternal flame.

"Who dares enter my domain?" the dragon's voice shook the sky.

Reo stepped forward, unfazed. "I am Reo Kisaragi, the new Dragon King. And I've come to face you."

The dragon laughed, fire pouring from his jaws. "You? A mere human? Foolish."

Reo smirked. "Then let's see if a 'mere human' can defeat a legend."

The battle was about to begin.
