CONTINUE FLASHBACK-------------------

Henry's pov------------

we were in the hospital, her brother and her mother are also with me waiting her to wake up

I've never ever seen Julian cry before, he's always with a serious face but when it comes to Ines he becomes another different person

he cares about her , he is always protective when someone talks to Ines or something happens to her

then Ines woke up

she looked at us strangely

I went towards her

"Are you alright?"

she didn't reply , her eyes were cold like if she got no emotions, like if she isn't alive anymore

usually she says that she's fine even if she isn't, but this time something changed

she isn't Ines

I even talked about this to Julian but he said that I was going crazy but he noticed too that she was cold and strange

I knew that Julian thinks Ines changed a lot after the accident but he was trying to lie to himself.

after a few weeks , I haven't got any news about Ines

I was abroad for a while and she didn't answered my calls or my messages

I called Julian to know If she got better or she still isn't remembering nothing about anyone

I only knew that she didn't go to school and she was resting at home .

I was worring to much about her that I didn't even cared about myself

i returned home and I went directly to my room

I slept for like two hours and woke up

my phone was switched off and when I turned it on

I saw a lot of missed calls and a lot of massages from Julian , his mom and an unknown number

I read first the unknown number

from: unknown number

667....

[" you are the bastard , aren't you? GET OUT OF HER LIFE"]

who is he? and what is he talking about?

To: 667....

["what are you talking about?"]

I replied

I didn't care about this much ,I checked the message of Julian

from : Juliyyy jerk

["WHERE IS MY SISTER?"]

*2 missed calls*

from : Juliyyy jerk

["Did she said something to you?"]

he calmed down

["damn it , why aren't you f-cking replying?!"]

* 4 missed calls*

["DAMN REPLY MY CALLS YOU JERK!"]

*7 calls missed*

["she went missing , we are thinking to wait 24 hours and call the cops "]

that was the last message

I called him back

["YOU FINALLY CALLED " ]

he screamed

"what's happening?"

I asked

he didn't reply but I heard a blow and someone crying

Julian was crying..

" ANSWER FXCK!"

i was so angry but I tried to remain calm

"did something happened to her? did someone kidnapped her? "

I asked

["I don't know , I-I went everywhere in the city , I asked her classmates, her friends, her boyfriend.."]

he replied while still crying

I was so angry with myself, I promised her to protect her , but I'm not even by her side , she's all alone

it's all my fault , I shouldn't go abroad

I should stayed with her

it's all my fault again , first the accident and now she disappeared

The fact that I hate the most is that I can't do nothing , nothing to protect her , to save her

I just can hope that she return back home safe

i ended the call with Julian , I just went to my after school and studied.

after two days , Julian called me , I still hope that he's gonna tell me that they found her but nothing

he just called me to see if I was okay

this is the first time that I see that Julian is worried about me and my health .

after about half week , her mother called me

I replied faster as I could

"hello?"

["hey Henry , are you okay?"]

"I'm fine , thank you , what about you and Julian?"

I said that I was alright but I'm not , I'm worried about Ines more than myself , she is like a sister to me , I've never had a sister or brother that loved me and then she showed me how to love and how it feels to be loved with her smile bigger than my face

I chuckled thinking about her smile and I forgot I was still on call with her mother

["Henry? are you still there?"]

she asked

"um yes , anyway why did you called me , is there something you have to tell me?"

["it's about Ines..."]

["she came back home, she's fine and safe but she is strange , she doesn't look like herself "]

"did she told you about what happened to her?"I asked

["no , that's why I called you , I know that she listens only to you so I wanted to ask you if can come back here so you could try to find what happened to her"]

"I can "

I said even If I don't know if I really could go back but I'll do anything to go to her side and to make her feel better .

["thank you so much Henry , i really appreciate it , if you need something just tell me "]

the call ended and I went to the place where my dad worked , It's so difficult to see him these days , he is so busy with work that he literally forgett that he has a son

I knocked on the door and then I entered the room

I asked him about if I could go back to the city

he just nodded and told me to leave with his hands

I booked the first plane to go back and I was thinking to fly today , in fact I went back home , I packed my bags and directly took the bus to go to the airport

it took me 3 hours on the plane and as soon as I arrived I saw the car of Ines's father

I knew that they weren't on good terms but he is the only one who could take me to Ines

I greeted him and got on the car In the back seat

I was so tired that I even slept in the car

it took us 1 hour to arrive home

we arrived home and I couldn't wait to meet Ines and Julian

I really missed them

aunt Diana opened the gate for me and for ines's dad

she smiled at me and she welcomed me

i went in and I was searching for Ines and Julian but then their mother came to see me and showed my room since I'll be staying with them until dad finish his work and come back here

I put my bags in the side of my room and I lay down on my bed , I wanted to sleep more but I had to see Ines , I forced myself to get up and went to the living room

"aunt Diana , where are Ines and Julian?"I asked

aunt Diana stopped talking and turned around to me and said :

" they are at school , do you need something Henry, you look very tired , go to sleep , I'll wake you up when they will come home "

I just nodded and returned back to my room

I just lay down again on my bed and without even noticing I felt asleep.

I felt someone touching my face , I opened my eyes and it was Ines

I smiled at her and she forced a smile but I could still see her sadness

I wanted to ask her so many questions but it wasn't the right time.

she looked at me

"why do you have many bruises?" she asked at me while touching my bruises on my arm

It hurt a bit but I didn't care , at least she wasn't mad at me

"oh , I don't know how I got them " I replied while getting up

"are you alright?" I asked to her

she didn't reply but she was so cold and I had a little strange feeling

I looked at her neck

I noticed that her necklace wasn't on her

she always put it on her neck, she never ever removed it from her neck

my feeling that she wasn't Ines start growing more and more until one day I had the confirmation that she wasn't herself

I don't know really how is it possible but when I walked in the hallway of my school ,I noticed a strange girl talking with ines

but she was only talking and Ines only nodded

it was so strange and I noticed that they had a precise time where and how to meet so I decided to follow ines everytime she goes to that girl

this time that girl noticed me following Ines and after talking to her , she went straight in front of me

" are you conscious?" that girl asked me

conscious ? what the hell is this girl talking about

"what do you mean?" I asked her

then she looked at her watch on her wrist

"it's time anyway that I have to tell someone" she whispered to herself

I tilt my head and leaned close to her face

"tell me what's happening and what are you doing to Ines now" I say with a command voice

she looked at me for a while and then she nodded

she told me to come with her somewhere

I had no time to think so I just followed her

"so? where are we going?"

with her strange watch she managed to make appear a strange door

she opened the door and entered into the big room inside of it

I couldn't believe my eyes , it was like if I was getting hallucinations

I followed her and I looked around myself

it was a big room with many watches that contained a lot of video of people living their life

I was so confused then she started talking

"this is where real life and novel life meet*

"this is the novel life "

she said while pointing to the right side of the infinite room

"the novel life is where good persons never succeeded to have a good life , but thanks to their good heart they managed to have another life in novels , a peaceful and full of drama and love stories "

"and this is the real life , where people live their life in stress , work , school, trying to succeed but they will never do "

"so what does Ines have to do with this? " I asked her

she looked at me

" she now lives in the novel life , she is too good for real life , her heart is too pure , but .."

"but?? but what?" I said

"but her life in the real life isn't complete, we all thought that in that accident she will die but she didn't, we don't know how she survived "

"so if Ines is in the novel life , who is the Ines in the real life ? I asked her

"she's only a copy so that everyone still thinks she is there but in reality the real Ines is in the novel "

she replied but her face was worried , like if she had still to say something else

"continue " I said with a serious voice

she sighed and then she continued talking

" she can return back to her real life and can go back to the novel , but only one time , she can't stay in both of the lives , she has to decide only one place to stay when she will be fulled conscious "

she stopped for a second and then she continued

" it's dangerous if she stays in the real life and continue to be conscious , because in the real life there are a kind of bodyguard who kills the conscious people and she could really die "

" what should we do then" I asked her while dragging my hands in my hair because of the stress that this is bringing me

" I'll figure it out , I'm gonna help you and Ines , I'll try to do something" she said

" thank you so much , but why are you helping us ?" i asked her while hugging her

"because I lived something like this before and I was all alone , I had no one and the stress was eating me alive , in my real life I did unforgivable sins , and now I'm being punished by living eternally here, I can understand her "

she said while some tears started getting out from her eyes

I just hugged her and thanked her for helping us , then she stopped crying and told me to go and to pretend like If I wasn't conscious

I went outside and then I never ever met her again.
