Chapter 12 : She is My Daughter

After hanging up the phone with Garth, Billy took out his phone and dialed Winston's number.

"Commander!" Winston answered as soon as the phone rang.

"Bring people to the club to clean the floor! Also, meet at the Thunder family mansion in three hours."

"Ah?" Winston was momentarily stunned before quickly responding, "Yes, sir!"

Billy turned and walked toward the door, with Casey following along, carrying Ainsley, who had passed out again.

At the same time, outside the highest-grade private hospital in Enssea, a Mercedes-Benz business vehicle was parked near the entrance. Inside the car, apart from Garth, were the Thunder family's manager, two strong men, and Tasha, who lay unconscious in the back seat.

Garth, having just hung up the phone, sat in his seat with a dark expression. He hadn't been this angry in nearly twenty or thirty years. The audacity of someone daring to provoke him was beyond belief. In his mind, he had already sentenced Billy to torture, determined to make him suffer a miserable death.

"Mr. Thunder, should we go upstairs or not?" the Thunder family steward asked cautiously after a while. He had overheard parts of Garth's conversation and was equally shocked.

"Return to Cloud City!" Garth took a deep breath.

"Got it!" The driver responded, hitting the gas and making a sharp turn.

"Get someone to find out who they are immediately!" Garth instructed the manager.

"As you wish, sir. I already have someone looking into it," the manager replied respectfully.

Shortly after, the manager's phone rang.

"What's up?" he answered.

Whatever was said on the other end caused his expression to shift multiple times in an instant.

"I see," he said before hanging up two minutes later and reporting to Garth. "Mr. Thunder, things have gotten complicated. The other party is not to be underestimated."

"What do you mean?"

"I just received word that Neal has been killed. Not only him but also his four top fighters and over a hundred gang members." The steward spoke with hesitation in his voice.

"Hmm?"

Garth Thunder knew Neal well—not only was he personally formidable, but his subordinates were also no pushovers. His four top fighters, each more ferocious than the last, were prominent figures in Cloud City's underground forces. Moreover, Neal had a stockpile of highly lethal firearms. In Cloud City, aside from the Thunder family, Garth couldn't think of anyone else with the courage and strength to take down Neal Hoffman.

"So, you're saying that the person who called earlier killed Neal?" Garth asked after some thought.

"Yes," the steward nodded. "He was looking for Neal to inquire about the whereabouts of that little girl."

"Did you find out how many people were with him?"

"Only one other person."

When he first heard this news, the manager nearly bit his tongue in disbelief. If not for his trusted source, he would have dismissed it as nonsense. But he knew his source wouldn't joke about something like this.

It seemed the Thunder family had gotten themselves into serious trouble this time.

"What? Are you sure?" Garth asked incredulously.

"Yes."

Garth let out a heavy sigh. "Call Franklin and have him bring all of our people in Ozin back to Cloud City immediately. Make sure they bring their weapons. Also, have Duncan call back all Thunder family members in Cloud City to the mansion."

"Yes, Mr. Thunder."

"And contact the heads of the Pena, Meyer, and Blount families. Tell them the Thunder family requests their presence, each bringing one hundred elite soldiers."

The Pena, Meyer, and Blount families were the other three top families in Cloud City besides the Thunder family.

"Understood," the steward replied, picking up his phone to carry out Garth's orders.

Garth then pulled out a cigar, lit it, and took a deep drag before dialing his daughter's number.

"Dad, are you in Enssea? What's going on?" came Iris Thunder's voice over the phone.

"Ainsley is in trouble…" Garth spoke in a heavy tone.

Meanwhile, Billy led Ainsley into a secluded tea house. The establishment had little business, and when they entered, it was completely empty. Casey pulled out a stack of hundred-dollar bills from his pocket, handing them over to pay for three hours' worth of privacy.

Then, Casey threw Ainsley to the ground and delivered two hard slaps to his face. Ainsley coughed up blood and regained consciousness, his eyes filled with fear as he looked at Billy and Casey.

"Who… who are you guys?"

"Does the Thunder family think they can do whatever they want in Cloud City?" Billy sat down calmly. "You're willing to sacrifice another child's life just so your daughter can have a heart transplant? I bet this isn't the first time the Thunder family has done something like this."

For Billy, now that Tasha was momentarily safe, he felt some relief. He didn't even consider how many people from the Thunder family would come after him. As King of the West, he did not fear even ten families as powerful as the Thunder family, let alone just one. If they dared to anger him, he could erase them with a single thought.

"What… what is your relationship with that girl?" Ainsley sputtered, blood still dripping from his mouth.

"She's my daughter."

"What? Impossible! We investigated—she has no father. Even her mother doesn't know who her father is…"

Before Ainsley could finish speaking, Casey kicked him in the stomach, sending him crashing into a wall pillar. Several of his ribs cracked from the impact.

"Keep your mouth shut, or you won't live another three hours!" Casey threatened.

"How dare you… the Thunder family won't let you go…" Ainsley screamed in agony.

"Is that so?" Billy lit a cigarette and took a drag.

"If your family wants to come after me, they should ask for my opinion first. Do you believe that after today, there will no longer be a Thunder family in Cloud City?"
