CHAPTER 43: The Argument

[FEW MOMENTS BEFORE, WHEN RYDER AND DYLAN REACHED THE LOBBY]

  Dylan's POV

It was way too hard to control my anger than I had expected. Ryder held fake concern when I looked into his eyes. Maybe I was just bitter, and maybe I was just too disgusted with his behaviour.

"What do you think you're doing to her, Ryder?" I asked firmly. He looked puzzled. Reframing it, I stated,

"You're cheating on her, aren't you?"

Ryder was a grandmaster of acting. The purity in his shock was absolutely terrifying. He thought he could get away from being found out?

"I'm cheating on her!? What do you mean!?" Ryder yelled back.

"Doesn't feel too good when your secrets have been exposed, don't you think?" I folded my arms on my chest. Ryder scoffed, running his fingers through his hair.
