Dylan's POV
My mood was sour the entire night. I tried to enjoy the Christmas Village, but Scarlett's lack of company was making me bored as ever. Even if I had company from my brother and a fellow tourist.
After wine tasting we paid 100$ each, we gathered at the entrance after a long, chilly walk with a very drunk Candice. I was slightly uncomfortable holding her up to not let her faceplant into the gravel. It would be awful on my part. I wasn't raised to be a bad friend, but I was also raised to keep my distance from other women when I was committed to my one and only.
And my one and only was Scarlett.
We caught sight of Scarlett there as her head turned to Candice. She held her upright, and I felt relieved. Moreover, I was relieved to see Scarlett after what felt like an eternity.
Ryder rubbed his nape gently and informed her in a soft voice, "There was a wine tasting we went to..."
