Scarlett's POV
Dinner had come to an end. I've never seen Aria eat as much as she did that day. All thanks to the chef pro athlete who was an all-rounder in, well...everything.
Putting the last dish in the sink, I leaned into Ryder and kissed his cheek.
"You're the best."
You'd make an amazing husband one day...was what I wanted to tell.
"I know. Because you princess, deserve the best." Ryder pulled me closer by my waist, kissing me deeply.
"Momma! Popcorn! We wanna watch Home Alone again!" I heard Aria's incoming voice into the kitchen and pushed Ryder away...but I was the one who was pushed back. That was embarrassing.
"Oh, Dylan agreed? But you have school tomorrow baby." I reminded her of the promise. I got a call from her school, and that was the reason why I wanted to send her to school one day before New Year.
"Oh...but it's okay! We can do something else!" My eyebrows crushed into each other.
