CHAPTER 40 Could This Be Something?

　　Ellie's POV

　　I woke up in an unknown place, after careful examination I found out it was Ryan's car.

　　My memory slowly started coming back to me as to what had just happened, I remembered Aria was with me and all of a sudden I wasn't there.

　　The memory kept coming in pieces but eventually, I was able to place all the pieces together.

　　I was at the bar and Aria had to leave, leaving me in Ryan's care. I think that was the main aim of things.

　　I sat upright and the next words that spewed out of my mouth were

　　"I can't believe she ditched me," I revealed.

　　"She didn't she just had an emergency that's all," he replied.

　　He said something else but I wasn't paying any attention. I don't know how my mind raced through the day.

　　But I suddenly recalled that he left a package for me, one that caused a worry or two.

　　It caused me to chuckle as I remembered what happened.
