Ellie's POV
After going shopping for dresses to wear for the listening party, Aria and I returned home. I was so famished that we had to stop by and get food on our way home.
"I feel so exhausted right now," I said, throwing myself on one of the couches.
"You should rest up for a while; we still have like four hours before the party," Aria said, dropping our bags on the floor.
"Yeah, I should, but hold on, something is going on. Do you care to explain?" I inquired.
"What do you mean?" Ellie stuttered.
"You are acting a lot nicer today; you didn't let me pay for the dress, you drove me to my favorite place to get food despite the distance, and just now, you were so gentle with your words," I said, listing a few of my observations.
"You are not being serious right now, are you?" Aria Said.
