CHAPTER 66 An Old Friend

  Nathan's POV

It had been one hell of a few days, and every moment of it had its own challenges.

For a while, I thought everything was going smoothly, that Alpha Sebastian Miller might believe I'd fallen off his tracks.

That I'd given up, left him in peace. But no. He was wrong. I hadn't left, and I never would.

I was going to destroy him. Even if it cost me my last breath.

Since the day I saw those omegas, tied up and helpless, their faces had haunted me. Their broken expressions—pleading, desperate—were glued into my mind.

I couldn't sleep. Not comfortably, not peacefully. Every time I closed my eyes, their faces were there, begging me to help them.

So I made a promise to myself. I would help them. No matter what.

The warmth of the coffee cup in my hands grounded me as I took a sip. They had always been my regular every morning.
