CHAPTER 100 The Breaking Point

  Avery's POV

Amelia's breaths were sharp, ragged, her fury radiating through the air like a storm about to break. The room, once a sanctuary, now felt smaller, suffocating under the weight of our confrontation, the simmering resentment that had finally boiled over.

"You have no right," she spat, her hands clenching into fists at her sides, her knuckles white with the force of her grip. "You think you can ruin me? Destroy everything I've built, everything I've worked for?"

I straightened, meeting her glare with unshaken resolve, my own anger, long suppressed, now rising to the surface. "You did this to yourself, Amelia," I said, my voice cold, hard, unwavering. "And now, you'll face the consequences."

  "You.... bitch!"

"You will pay for this, Amelia. I don't care about our relationship, I don't care about family, I don't care about anything; you tried to kill me and you're going to pay". I declared for everyone to hear.
