　　It was two days before the Heir Assessment began, and we kept our distance from Lillian as she requested, though it hurt she was right, we needed to put aside our feelings, and the longing we felt for our mate.

　　Arsenio has become more gentle and hardly visits the clubhouse after a tremendous day at the pack house.

　　We wanted to get to know each other, but she wasn't giving us that chance.

　　When we felt the bond at the funeral, we were happy and sad at the same time.

　　Lillian was still mourning the death of her father, this was no time for romance or telling her about her being our potential mate when she was the princess.

　　"Our duty to protect her comes first before any other time."I was saying to Arsenio who just leaned against the wall of the kitchen.
