Evelyn's POV
I was glad to see that Nolan and Griffin were able to be civil, and perhaps our packs could be at peace with no bitterness and no jealousy. I hoped and prayed that Griffin meant every word of wanting to change for the better and make amends.
"Come, we have to go and see Ethan. I promised him a day of whatever he wants to do." Nolan suddenly turned his focus back on me and reached out for my hand. Smiling up at him, I entwined my fingers with his, feeling a warmth spread through me at the simple yet intimate gesture. There was something reassuring about the way he held my hand—firm but gentle, like he understood the weight of the world around us and was willing to bear it together.
"Have you thought about what Ethan might want?" I asked, glancing up to see the determination in Nolan's eyes. He always had a way of making the mundane feel special, and I couldn't help but feel excited about spending the day with our son.
