"I accept you as…" I paused as his words sank in.
"What?"My eyes widened in shock and my cheeks burned in embarrassment.

　　While we were eating, we didn't say anything to each other. Alpha Darrel was so into his phone while I was pretending to also be busy with my phone.


　　"Did you call mom today?" I asked him and he turned to look at me surprised. I knew he would be because we don't get along very well.


　　"She called when I wasn't with my phone, then I called back when I saw her calls." He explained it to me. I never added an explanation so I was surprised he was explaining everything to me.


　　I raised my head to look at him after hearing his explanation. "Did she ask when we were returning to the pack?" I asked curiously because I could remember he gave her a reply that sort of relates to that.


　　"Yes, my reply was vague." I was surprised to hear what he said because why would he give her a vague reply when we are clearly returning tomorrow.
