Eryn POV
After the bathroom debacle, Atticus refuses to look me in the eyes. I am wearing his t-shirt and boxers, both of which are falling off me. My shoulders keep slipping through the neck hole of the shirt, and each time, Atticus growls angrily.
I bunch the shirt together in front of me in an attempt to hold it in place. "I can sleep in my room," I remind him. "I am just down the hall."
"No," he grumbles. "Get in the bed."
"Atticus," I begin to reason with him, but he cuts me off.
"Bed. Now." There is a tiny bit of command behind his words, and I have no choice but to climb into bed.
I don't go quietly. I mumble under my breath about overprotective Alphas and misogyny.
"I think you are pronouncing chivalry wrong," he snaps at me.
Neatly, I tuck myself into one side of the bed and smooth the blankets around me. "I said what I said," I snap at him.
Atticus rips a pillow off his bed and tosses it on the floor. "Are you always going to be so difficult?"
