Atticus POV
The sounds of screams reach my ears, and I know they are coming from my apartment. I have two options. I can shift and waltz into the complex naked, or Hero can barge in, and I pray no one shoots at me. When another scream pierces the night, Hero doesn't let me make the decision.
He charges into the apartment building and straight for the elevator. There is more screaming, but it comes from the people around me. They have, no doubt, never seen a werewolf before or a real wolf. No one is sure how to act, especially when Hero presses the buttons to the elevator with his nose.
The situation is dire, but I can't but find it slightly amusing. When the elevator doors open, he prances inside like a house dog and waits for the doors to close. As it climbs the floors, Hero circles the floor like a caged animal. I pity whoever is on the other side when we reach the top. He is likely to knock them over.
