CHAPTER 113 Human Hospital

  Atticus POV

I pull up to the hospital and leave my car in the emergency lane. They can tow it for all I care. When I rush inside, everyone stops to look at me. It is filled with humans and I am much larger than everyone, and I am sure I look murderous. People dart out of my way as I approach the desk.

The elderly woman doesn't look up when I approach her. "You are looking for the shifters," she says typing something in the computer.

"Yes?" I am unsure how I am supposed to respond.

"Look into the camera," she says, tapping the lens on her computer. She snaps the picture before I am ready and it prints a name badge on a small printer. "We don't allow shifting or fighting inside the hospital. Not everyone knows who or what you are. It is important to keep it that way. The nurses and doctors in that wing are armed with guns and silver bullets. They will not hesitate to shoot you. Do you understand?"
