ABI
Ten Years Later
Sweat is dripping down my forehead and I am sure my toes are bleeding. We have been at it for hours, and Luna Katherine isn't showing any signs of letting up. She has told us that we will go over the choreography until it is perfect.
"Abigale," her voice snaps over the music. "Chin up."
I raise my chin with a scowl on my face. I glare right into Luna Katherine's eyes and she narrows her eyebrows at me. She is displeased with my performance today, and she has made it known. She has nitpicked every move I have made today. She has even gone as far as to call me "ungraceful."
I am seething with anger by the time comes for the last spin. I stumble out of the turn and fall on my hands and knees. The whole class gasps when my knees crack against the floor.
