　　Alex begins to rub the back of my hand that he is holding, while we are walking. I feel so at peace just walking in silence with him. All the constant thoughts that have been going through my mind over the past couple of weeks, seem to evade me.


　　The mate bond is already growing. I feel a peace with Alex that I did know could exist. 


　　"So," Alex breaks the silence. "You are an Alpha?" Alex says more like a statement, rather than a question. "What pack are you from?" We continue at a leisure pace. "I am the oldest child of Alpha Robert Daniels of the Moonstone pack." I respond.


　　"The Moonstone pack, that is an impressive pack. Are you ready to take over?" He asks me, while walking me over to a bench. "I have been preparing to take over as Alpha since I could walk. I am definitely ready, but I would like to pursue a business degree first. However, my STEPmother, correcting Giselle's earlier claim that I am her daughter, believes a degree is a waste of time.
