　　I can tell Miles is still upset. Though, I don't feel his anger is directed at me. There has been so much that has happened since I walked into the Ball. I met and shifted into my wolf, that I didn't know I had. I met my mate and accepted the bond. Oh yeah, and I need to tell Alex about Miles. 


　　Plus, I have a feeling there is a story involving the she-wolf that blocked the door.


　　Miles leads me around the corner from the pavilion, where our conversation cannot be easily overheard.


　　I jump in before Alex can start to ask questions. "First, I would like to apologize for not mentioning Miles. There has been so much going on that he honestly slipped my mind. I want no one but you. Please believe me." I say, while looking in his eyes.


　　Alex moves so quickly I can barely register what is happening. He grabs my face in both of his hands and kisses me passionately. A soft moan escapes my lips, and Alex deepens the kiss, as if he is trying to imprint his mouth on mine.
