　　Alex is staring Miles down with his arms folded across his chest, and I can see this stand-off won't end anytime soon.


　　'Babe, we have to take him for his word for now. Let's table this, since we are just sitting ducks out here.' I link him.


　　At my words, Alex releases the tension from his body and focuses on the present.


　　He unfolds his arms and walks over to me. He kisses the top of my forehead. "I'm sorry, my love. You're right." He says softly.


　　"Let's head out. There isn't anything here. Giselle obviously isn't here, and we have no idea where she has gone." Alex states.


　　He turns to the Moonstone warriors that are with us. "We obviously have to head back to Sapphire, but Kira and our beta trust you both. Can we rely on you guys to keep an eye on Giselle and report to us?" Alex inquires.
