　　"Great!" Councilman Harris says with a clap of his hands. "We will conduct the beta ceremony after you and Kira have concluded your alpha pledge." Councilman Harrison continues.


　　"Kira, have you spoken with the selected individuals you desire to hold a title?" He asks.


　　I shake my head no. "I haven't had the chance to speak to them, yet." I say, as I look over to where Justice, Bella, and Elijah are sitting next to Dad.


　　"Well now is as good a time as any." Another council member chimes in. 


　　I don't know why I am so nervous. I know that my best friends love and support me, but I am asking them to leave the only home they know, for me.


　　Alex must feel my trepidation through our bond. He winks at me, while linking me. 'Don't be nervous. Whatever they decide, we got this!' He says.
