　　I can feel Alex's entire body tense up, while still in his embrace.


　　"What the fuck are you doing here?" Alex barks out, but he doesn't let me go.


　　I place a hand on his chest to calm him down. Though he is still pissed, his posture isn't as tense.


　　"I asked you a fucking question!" Alex grits out. He slowly releases me, so that I can turn around to face our surprise guest.


　　As I turn around, I am truly filled with shock. Miles Austin stands before us.


　　I stand in front of Alex, knowing that the slightest movement from Miles would give Alex an invitation to beat his ass.


　　Though I am standing in front of him, I reach behind slightly to hold his hand and keep his peace.


　　"Miles, what are you doing here?" I ask him in a calm voice.


　　Miles raises his hands in surrender. "I swear, I didn't know that anyone was here. I was following my Dad before he disappeared out of nowhere. I was just searching the area looking for clues." He explains.
