　　Alex leads me through the pack house, all the way upstairs, until we reach the alpha quarters.


　　Nana is busying herself in the kitchen, preparing an intimate meal for Alex and I tonight.


　　I stop for a moment, and just smile, watching Nana work. I feel so absolutely grateful that my Dad allowed her to move to the Sapphire pack with me. It's like having my own piece of Moonstone with me.


　　Nana's gentle voice brings me out of my daze. "I was wondering when you were going to come and talk to me. I am your goddess-given guidance guardian, after all." She chuckles.


　　Alex walks into the kitchen and steals a piece of steak off of a plate that Nana has arranged with an accompanying chimichurri sauce to go with it.


　　"Geez Nana, say that 3 times fast!" Alex jokes, while shoving the piece of steak in his mouth.
