　　I looked on as my mother stepped forwards and took Elena's hands in hers. Elena's eyes darted to me before she bowed her head before she was pulled in for a warm embrace by my mother. Pulling back to look at her again, my mother's face split into a beaming smile. My chest tightened as my father stepped forward, his very presence would make a grown man run for the hills. Elena stood her ground as my father stared at her silently before nodding his head.
