CHAPTER 33

  Alec's POV

In the depths of the forest, where the shadows of towering pines mingled with the whispers of the wind, the air thrummed with tension. At the heart of this wild expanse, I stood at the edge of a rocky outcrop, surveying the vast territory that stretched out before me. Beside me, Brody, shifted his weight anxiously.

"Alec," Brody began, his voice low but urgent. "The rogue pack that attacked the village—news has spread like wildfire. The scent of their aggression lingers, and it won't be long before they strike again."

I turned to him, the slow tick at the base of my jaw reflecting both my determination and concern. The rogue pack's audacity was not just a threat to the village but to our entire territory. "We cannot let them undermine our authority, Brody. The villagers depend on us for protection, and we must show them that we are not to be trifled with."
