　　"Mom! Dad!" I rush through the front door and down the flight of stairs before Alec's ‘be careful' was a mere distant whisper behind me. I launch myself into the arms of my mother and then do the same with my dad. They are both dressed in elegant dinner attire that I've only seen them wear to a family's wedding reception we once attended a few years back.


　　Linking my arms through my parents' hands, I turn towards Alec and his parents who were all smiling at my reaction to my parents' arrival. As Alpha Xavier and Luna Maria approached us, my parents disentangled their arms from mine and bowed deep before them. A deep baritone chuckle rumbled off my future father-in-law's chest as he stepped closer to my parents.


　　"Such formality is not necessary. We are to be family, are we not?" Alpha Xavier exclaimed as my parents raised their heads with wide eyes.
