Olivia's POV
I peeled off my clothes, still sweaty from the evening's... activities. A hot shower tempted me, but exhaustion won out. I grabbed my favorite oversized t-shirt and slipped it on. The soft fabric felt like a hug against my bare skin.
Flopping onto my bed, I sighed. The springs creaked in protest, a far cry from Christopher's luxurious mattress. I pushed that thought away and reached for my phone.
Time to face the music. Or, in this case, my boyfriend.
I opened Logan's chat and started typing:
Me: Hey babe, you up?
No response. I tried again.
Me: Loooogaaaaan?
Still nothing. Maybe he was asleep? Or giving me the silent treatment? I bit my lip, guilt gnawing at me.
Me: Okay, I know you're probably mad I ghosted you earlier. But I have news! Big audition tomorrow. Like, potentially life-changing big. They're doing a screen test and everything!
I waited a moment, then added:
